LOL I like the part at the begenning when Paul and John are talking about Elvis. Paul said he's so good looking and that he is a messiah. Paul looks a lot like Elvis, especialy when he was a short haired teenager. I hope he relized it at the time, because it would help with self esteem. John said that Evis was "wiggling his ass", wihch is funny. At 4:45 he is so beautiful.:)
You know what's so amazing. When Paul talked about how much he loved listening to "Serachin" by The Coasters, he also was paying homage to The Jerry Leiber/Mike Stoller Song Catalogue who were the first Successful Songwriting Duo on Rock Music.
@Beatlelover7 Same here :( I'm 14, and I feel like I was born in the wrong era. I'm not into the music that comes out nowadays at all, I'm not impressed by the "heart throbs" of today, and I find myself being disgusted by some of the clothes I see people wearing these days..Everyday I wish that I could go back in time, I would have loved to be a part of Beatlemania! :)
and if John never found his mom, he would have never started the group than became the Beatles, and if Ringo died from a burst appendix, there would be no amazing drummer for the group. Pete Best is ok, but Ringo is better
"I suppose I used to talk down to him a little bit...as you do." Is he going to go on to say "and didn't stop talking down to him till the day he died."
Huh. I got everything BUT drums. Piano, guitar, recorder. No drums. I play beats and rhythms on the piano. Guitar... well, the strings pop... and poke me in the eye. Guitars are not my friends, that's for sure.
Elvis asked my grandmother for a bobbypin the first time she saw him in concert. This has nothing to do with the Beatles, but I just thought I'd share :)
Does she still have it? When I was born (9/55) all that was on the radio was Elvis. There were five of us aged four and under (two sets of twin born two years apart, and my oldest sister), and my mother had a nervous breakdown. My dad said he'd have to hustle to take care of us all. He'd leave us in our cribs, with the radio turned up to sooth us. To this day, I cannot stand Elvis! My father brother home "Meet the Beatles" one day (he worked in NYC then), saying "These guys look interesting."
Unfortunately, she didn't have one :( It's kinda weird that he'd ask for a bobbypin though... Elvis never really was 'great' to me, but yet his presence never escapes me. My best friend is related to Elvis.
I'm reading a book that is similar to this documentary called "Shout !" its about the entire history the Beatles and the generation that they inspired
sultryslut ur a dumbass the beatles made rock opular, so b4 u go and open ur stupid mouth just shut the fuck up and read a history book about music and ill garentee it will have the beatles in it.

EIII AQUI
Alguém sabe onde eu acho aquela montagem colorida da época do anthology em que ta os Três Beatles vivos e o John.
Eu sei que ela é colorida e é uma das melhores montagens que tem do John velho.
Parece que ele realmente estava naquele momento.
Obrigado
