You really gave everybody some great advice. Sometimes I dont think that people realize how harsh they are.....I think they are well meaning with their comments.....but when someone is on their weight loss journey.....they need positive reinforcement! Nice job!

I think, working on mental wellness has to happen & be address in order to find that inner strength to lose the weight for a better health,

Great video Iz! I'm going to try some MCT oil and see how that works out for me. It's what's in coconut oil. Supposedly both can work as an anti-inflammatory, which is what I need for my knees! I just can't do coconut oil because of allergies! Thanks for being such an inspiration! :)
Thanks ChrisTina, I don't know much about MCT. I know my father speaks very highly of "Bromelain." Its a great anti inflammatory. I tried taking it when my sugar levels were really high and I got bad headaches so I stopped, but I am thinking of starting it up again because the occasional ibuprofen I take is really bad for me.
Of course what I was talking about is not all inclusive. the 5% vs 95% is a theory that I am glad works for those who subscribe, but what I was talking about has to do with people having legitimate health issues and not just about losing weight. Much more complicated stuff. And in this particular case I am speaking of... a verbal beat down is not only not in order, but also not helpful.

I actually just wanted to point out that for some people these messages can be constructive.... and sometimes some people blame overweight on lazyness etc and in fact... in some cases that is the reason why some people don't act... but as you said, a lot of other factors play a huge role in it.... just don't try to see it too black&white... but still... another great video of yours ;) you learned me a lot about stress and thanks to your message I try to destress a lot more... thnx! xoxo
I agree with most of it... it's true some videos make me feel as if I am weak and not able to achieve what others can... and sometimes it's a bit pushy to me, it makes me feel as a loser.... BUT at the same time it is actually pushing me to do something about it! so I guess it depens on how you let those messages affect you.... every single person is different ànd unique and we all have personal things going on that may be getting in the way of our good resolutions etc.
I can't argue with anything you had said really, but I did mention that I was only speaking from my experience and was more referring to those who were in the same boat as myself. There are people who can respond to that type of "motivation" like your self, but there is a very high number of them who from week to week give the same weight gain videos with the look of defeat. I don't think that in the end for most of them that it is a positive experience. We all have the strength within ourselves
to do what is successful concerning our health. We just need to have the room and opportunity to do so. I also think knowing that there are things that hinder us that we may have not been aware of may also give hope and encouragement to work at not letting those things win over. We can not fight what we do not see. : )

Amazing how bad refined carbs are for us. I never thought about how they make it hard to even think when I was a carb guzzler. But, now that I am carb free I do remember feeling like that.
