i think the reason why they have ONE plastic gear in the higher quality servos is to provide the actual "driving" part of the servo with a safety precaution, kinda like what they do with lawnmowers. if you hit something hard with your lawnmower (aka rocks) then it strips a key to prevent the engine from being damaged. i think thats why they do it in the servos too, cuz its a lot cheaper to buy a small plastic gear replacement rather than a whole new servo XD

if you hate the servos, try using futaba s3115. goes about 0.5-7 sec faster per. 60. degree

The slow speed would probably make it a decent sumo bot if you threw a wedge on there.

really you got emails about that? Well it's quite easily possible, I mean for pushy bots. They have to be 4wd unless they use tank treads because 2 wheels turning aint gonna give you much grip.
