it's not soley meant to inspire and it's not soley meant to do one particular thing to the reader

it's mean to invoke allot of feelings and thoughts to the readers.

what a bonus you get this sickly rich dark comic and then have music to compliment it

it's claudios open palette.

it's meant to make you cry and it's meant to connect to people who have a good conscience

and know these very tragic things go on every day in our world

or a father murdering his own children

you have to flow with the story and enjoy every little thing.

@FinalSirmon Supreme Tri-Mage Wilhelm Ryan tricked Coheed into killing his own children by telling him the Monstar virus inside of Cambria and him would have been passed down to their offspring and posed a threat to the entire Keywork. As it happens, I think Josephine actually had the cure within her. Don't trust Supreme Tri-Mages is the lesson here..

@Fatpie42 Well no one else responded to you so I guess I will. just about every C&C song has a story behind it, in this case it was Josephine getting raped by the Jersey City Devils. This wasn't the video creators ideas. It was Claudio Sanchez's ideas that he put into his graphic novels the Amory Wars, and music. So the video creator didn't "do" anything with a C&C song other than help others see how the music relates to the story.

I never said the song was JUST about rape.

The person who replied to me said that this video couldn't help but be focussed on rape because "in this case [the story behind it] was Josephine getting raped by the Jersey City Devils" (and apparently you'd disagree with them).

This was all in response to me congratulating the makers of this video and expressing interest in seeing another video, this time for a C&C song where rape isn't such a central theme.

in the story, Coheed is forced to kill all his children. He kills his young twins, Maria and Matthew, with poison (depicted during the interlude of this song in my video). Coheed tells his wife Cambria that the little ones suffered too much while they died from the poison. So when his teenage daughter Josephine comes home, he decides "a series of knocks to the young girl's head-side" with his hammer would be a quicker and less painful death than the twins experienced.
