Keep hanging in there kid. Keep working at it. A little off, but tone is good. Have heard others play this on other axes better note performance, but just not the same if not on a good ole American Strat. I am old school (16 years old in 1969). You are still better axeman than me. Keep practicing. Jimi would be proud!!

I like the kneck on this one but it sounds a little bright. My white 1986 has a lot better tone then this one. They both have identical Fender Custom Shop 69 pickups. I am sure it is wood this one is made of. This one is a 1996 CIJ for the Japan market only. Thanks Brandon

I have the exact same guitar, mine is a 73 micro neck deluxe American Strat with the large headstock, at some stage in its existence the machine heads were replaced b4 I got it... all original though
