Well if nothing has ever been reproduced like it or they cannot understand what it is. Is'nt this enough evidence to say that it is supernatural. I'm actually starting to believe that it is the shroud that wrapped Jesus. What else can it be. They cannot come to any conclusions
U r awesome in this place mighty God!!!! Why would scientists waste their time proving and demonstrating the complexity of medieval dyes??? lmaooo this is only a morsel of the Truth of the Creator and his magnificence!!!
@thetattratt The coins were put there to keep his eyes closed during burial. It has been known and practiced for centuries, that's where the phrase, "I would steal the money off a dead man's eyes" comes from.
The carbon 14 test result was tainted by the presence of newer fibers that had been woven into a corner of the shroud by medieval artists who used a weaving technique to accomplish a repair not visible to the naked eye. This was proven several years ago by one of the leading scientists who did not believe the Marino theory about the compromised carbon testing, and there is now CHEMICAL proof that the portion of cloth in question contained medieval dyes. THE SHROUD IS REAL.
I understand the shroud had been handled during forensic study several times before this, and apparently those who objected (the vatican) had the last word on further chemical testing.
Then let me address your comment as a scientist, being as I am one. Science is about the weight of the evidence, not "conclusions." The various tests used to date the shroud were individually inconclusive, which was the reason for more refined dating. Ironically, the most recent dating, which puts the shroud nearer 1300CE, has now become evidence for a much older cloth, since the fibers used to yield that result are demonstrably missing from the original material.

Apparently the shroud has been sampled multiple times from multiple sites...all with the same conclusion so...
