When I was a kid I got to be back stage and see Crimson glory. My aunt dated their manager and when other kids were listening to mc hammer and vanilla ice I was listening to CG and Saigon Kick. I remember it was loud but very clear, they always sounded good.

Awesome band. Bought the Transcendance cd back when released in '88/89 after a review in Metal Forces, they gave it 10/10 if I recall. Midnight's voice always amazed me. A great talent and a great loss.

I saw these guys in Houston Texas for the Transcendence tour, My girlfriend and I were Xing and the concert was kickass, I wish I would have been straight for the show, I remember the guy guitarist on our left was totally pissed after the show because the crowd wasn't rowdy enough for him, I guess the whole crowd was on the same drugs I was!!!!

There's some fine music coming out of Scandinavia at the moment, but if you like 80's progressive you cant go wrong with Queensryche's The Warning and Operation Mindcrime (I'm sure you know that)...........but make sure you check out Dimmu Borgir (they are fucking BRILLIANT!!!!!!), Ensiferum, Children of Bodom when they play near to you!!!

Transcendence is a milestone of metal! You can also hear that they don't made properly progressive metal, but they made a sort of fusion between US power and progressive, they cannot be compared to shitty bands like dream theater or similar!
