The AMG will surely beat the GT-R at Top Speed. But its awesome that the GT-R with V6 485 PS can deal with a v12 with ~600PS.

But both are damn nice cars.

the AMG is a V-12 Bi-turbo with 612+HP..

the GT-R is V-6 47O something HP with AWD..

with half the cylinders, the GT-R is doin pretty good.. although the AMG will run it down on top end...

still 2 beautiful cars!!..

0-60 times ranging from 3.3 to C/D's Aug 08 issue of over 4sec. and 1/4mile times are from 11.6 to low to mid 12's. I mean C'mon somthing is going on. The computer LC, TC, practicality squeeze every tenth u possibly could out of it..w/every launch as consistent as poss + w/ it's F1 style gearbox.. There's no way it could vary so much. The motors r even hand built! someone somewhere is lying. But the car's still a sikk!

Ya...& I'm sure if any hypo sports car had all the traction N the world, a computer that launches 4 u, oh & shifts 4 u that it'd B able to run 0-60 N 3.2Sec, void the warranty, & demolish the transmission N the process! lol. Ps..the GTR doesn't run 0-60 in 3.2. Nissan's all over the place with it's numbers, & claimed times. Factory GTR's r showing up w/Hp rattlings anywhere from 450-500 + on dynos all over the place. Which is why u Porsche can't duplicate Nissan's Nur. time with their GTR

The transmisson only had problems with the first couple of GTR's made plus every single GTR is hand made so it can either be quicker or handle better so different GTR's can either launch better or slower some have reached 0 - 60 in 3.2 seconds some only reach to 3.5 seconds

0-60 gtr is 3.8 sec-3.2 best. for 70K car its one of the best

its not 70k, if you actually go to a dealer and check the pre-order price for this "nissan" it will end up in around 90-100k with taxes. Reading too many magz
