@TheVictoria411 FInd a micro SD card slot somewhere on your phone. Then just stick it in. When you want to plug in into your computer, get an adapter and plug the card into the adapter then plug that into your computer.

a Micro sd card is a really tiny memory card about the size of your pinkey nail.

You prbably can ask Verizon about this but they'll probably try and persuade you to download their music to make things easier but it's 2 bucks a song.

You dont have to format the mem stick really. Just make a folder named "my_music" without the quotations.

Well, that's not a problem. Anyone can learn. First you must have a micro sd card, which i presume you do.

Secondly you should have an adapter which usually comes with the sd card. After you have those, plug it into the usb port in the comp. Then go to somthing like "computer" or "my computer" it should be on the start menu, assuming you have windows.

Then find the mem card you plugged in and start dragging and dropping music in the my_music folder. Then put it back in ur phone. Good Luck,

really? It should appear some where in "My Computer" if not, it usually should have "autoplay" pop up and then you have the option to explore all the folder n stuff.

Try clicking on ALL the drives and see if you find it, it should be there if its plugged into your computer.

Well then here might be the problem:

1. ur memcard is messed, badly.

2. ur phone's messed up, or the connectors where its supposed to read the mem card are broken.

try this, while on the vid camera, theres a menu, try adjusting it, if theres no option then you cant take videos longer than 15 seconds. Yeah I know, its really stupid. I used to have a razr. You have an older version most likely.

However, I think you can take your razr to a Verizon store and they may be able to update it so it can do more stuff like have an external wallpaper and record longer vids. I think.

Its legal yes, depending where you got the song from, but having a couple copied songs from your friends wont usually hurt ;) just watch what you download. You could read all that legal stuff if you search it using your everyday serach engine.

uhh no not really, ive never actually used an mp3 converter. Most phones can play mp3 even the ones from vzw now. But if you want to do mp3 >to wma then...I think winamp works, but I dont know if it can do wma >to mp3. You can try Winamp, its an all in one media player and it has a converter also.

Yes, most of the phones can play .3g2 and .3gp but newer phones can play more formats like .mp4 try it out and see if they work.

oh, that should be easy.

Its a bit confusing though. Depeding on what comp you have, if you have Windows then try editing the songs in the Windows Media Player library, go copy the album picture from some site like amazon mp3 and then paste it on your song in the library.

Hmmm... well, sounds to me like your new phone cant read some of your music files, or your new phone can only read from a certain directory (folder) in the sd card.

Or maybe at&t doesnt let you play imported music at all, but that would be cruel.

I dont know much about att phones but try putting some mp3 songs on there, mp3 is common on music players. Good Luck.

well, according to my research, your phone can play mp3, and m4a (main ipod format).

Anyways, your phone can play mp3's but if you download from the Vcast online store, all the songs you download there are WMA and cost 2$...

Also, I think your phone would directly play from the mem card. You see, Vcast is a music player (and can access online store) and it can play all your mp3, m4a, wma whether on ur card or phone.

All verizon phones can play at least WMA.

Well, the ur memory card might be messed up...you know you dont have to format it, just make a folder with the text: my_music then put all your songs there. If you cant because your card is corrupted, then try formatting it with the computer.

btw if you're phone can play .mp3 or .m4a, i HIGHLY reccomend you stick to those formats instead, they run smoother, on the other hand ive always had problems with WMA but i got a newer phone which can play more formats like mp3 and .m4a.

hmm..... well as you may know, i dont know everyone's menu layout so ill say it should generally be in some type of "memory storage" option. But anyways you DONT have to format it though because all you really need 4 music is a my_music folder becuase that is where it reads em. So this should be your solution: go on the comp and make a Folder with the exact text my_music and then store some mp3's , wma's or whatever your phone can play, and your all set! btw why does your comment have <3 ?

uh sry for the late reply. i just recently found out that my crap Razr V3m can play .m4a as a ringtone!!.... okokok this should be easy, get a media converter (i like Winamp, its a media player/converter/web browser) anyways convert those files to .m4a, .midi or .qcp (i recomend .m4a it sounds better, but takes a bit more space) then store those files in your sd card, if they dont appear, i think your supposed to store em in the "my_sounds" folder, just try it out.

You need to take a computer class -_- lol jk. All you have to do is plug it in, and go to the Start menu and you should see "My Computer" or "Computer", it should generally be in "computer" (if you dont see it keep looking) after you do that, it should display some memory drives, and your micro sd should be there, i recomend you rename the card to somethin you like otherwise the name will probably be a bunch of numbers like this: 72484te287te btw plz rate!

Well, it depends what your phone is, because i dont know every phone's menu layout, but generally the option to format should be in a "Settings and/or Tools" category . for me though it was Settings and Tool>>> System >>> Device Info >>> Storage Devices>>> and then it will show your memory card and your phone's memory then it will have an option to format the memory card if u scroll over it. but that's for a Razr V3m
