I think Desislava can be a star is she decides to either sing in spanish or english. The second choice of course would be the most commercial one, but the first will give her career a plus. It's not easy to sing in spanish and the promotion is tough considering it's not as strong as english. But the reward is high; several latin artists are known in many countries singing in spanish only, and they achieve a higher level of recognition. See mexican singer Thalia, she is a star in Greece.

@khaenos -- Personally, I wish she would stick to her roots and not drift too far away from it. There is already too many Brittany Spears and lady gagas and similar corporate look alikes. Desi has something unique, she is already going too mainstream in my opinion. I think some of her best work was when she still incorporated traditional folk into her music. MTV ruins everything :(

@Borba73 Yes you're right. but what if she decides to release an album in a foreign language (be it spanish or english) but with a blend of traditional bulgarian folk. That would be interesting. Personally as a latin person, I would prefer spanish, of course. And that language isn't too comercial pop speaking, to make her look like a copycat of someone else. But surely MTV destroys what it touches. I actually don't like the kind of music and videos they are playing nowadays.

This is another one of those stupidities demanded by the Bulgarian youth. She is probably one of the most talented singers but this is lost with these horrible songs. What happened to the Folklore did everyone forget that, and what about her Spanish songs. I hope people would wake up and realize that these songs do not require much talent to be sung especially by a person who has attended one of the best musical universities in Bulgaria.
