  • The "cap" won't come off, I've tried the thinnest flat-head, an exacto, and pliers. How does it come off?!

  • uni-kit.com

  • Hi not sure what you mean by brown plastic, but CLP310 / 315 cartridges do have a chip and its in the location shown by the Uni-Kit instructions which you can download from our website (see page 119 of our current instructions V6.0). Without a chip the cartridges cannot be recognized by the printer. Website is uni-kit (.com). Youtube does not allow us to post full links.

  • @easygroup The brown plastic he refers to is the dummy chips used by Samsung in the starter toner cartridges, given away with the printer. They don't have chips.

  • @willrichtor My printer has the same brown plastic (no contacts). Can I just refill this starter one?

It says 60% left but prints are already suffering..

  • I just got a used printer with no chips on the cartridges.

there is just a brown plastic thing in place.

  • best to keep them full or half full so that you don't have to buy the chip.

  • @davidst489 This is correct, if you keep them more than a certain percentage full (around 20-30% full), the original chip won't "lock out", and you can refill and reuse the original chip. But below a certain point the original chip will get locked out and cannot be reused.

  • thanx 4 the video,,really helpful..the problem is where 2 buy that refill ? would type the full name of the refill? i have a Sumsung 315.

  • @NMOEG This is a Uni-Kit brand toner refill kit, can be found through Uni-Kit resellers. Search google for "Uni-Kit toner refill kits"
