  • Did this even happen? Did he even ask her to come back? I never heard that before and I doubt it.

  • Priscilla chosed a good and beautiful actress to perform her. And chosed a terrible and ridiculous actor to perform Elvis. She has the value of shit, in my modest opinion.

  • woah. long responses.

  • you must understand, she loved him more than her own life. it is easy to make her the victim because of this movie. Please don't. My mother was friends with both of them in the 70's. He adored her but did not know how to show it because of the pills among other things. she adored him but did not know how to be part of his world as he needed her to be. I really felt for both of them when this came out. I will love them both for the rest of my life as will my mother.

  • @acoley71 Really wow

  • It is sad but she never stopped loving him. She admits now that she still in love with a ghost. She wanted to be her own person but Elvis is a big part of her life. Her later interviews confirms this. Now that she is older the only man she talks about is Elvis. They are soul mates.

  • what an idiot this guy don t even got the looks what fool what do they know all nothing at all money makers who make up a story fools

  • They really loved each other. Maybe not everyone thinks that both of them loved each other but they did. I wish they would have gotten back together before he died. She made him very happy. They were perfect for each other.

  • This is just so, so, so sad. Just finished reading 'Elvis and the Memphis Mafia' such a good book, and they can't confirm whether he went to see Priscilla in '76 or not. From reading the book and watching this film, you can try and see it from both sides. I think that this is the most poignent scene of the whole film. You see a man who is truly tired. And check how Priscilla doesn't shed a tear in the funeral scene? Intentional or not? Since it's based on her book?

  • the marriage was a PR move. A lot of Elvis' inner circle have said that Elvis did not want to marry her. However, he did promise her father that if he allowed Priscilla to come live at Graceland then he would eventually marry her. Well almost 5 years later they were still unwed, and Priscilla's father threatened to sue Elvis for breach of promise. Therefore, Col.Parker thought it would help boost his declining movie and music career by marrying Priscilla.

  • that one part is true elvis had gotten to where he was getteath threats from sick fans. he got to where he was wearing a bullet proof vest on stage and had a fbi agent on stage with him at all times with a gun on him to add to his protection. he was singing a song one night and afterwards a man on the top row hollored out at elvis and it frightend elvis that it might be a shooter then the man asked him to sing a certain song. elvis said that was a big relief. sad but true. godbless.

  • poor elvis :-( for having cilla in his life

  • Worst Elvis Presley life movie ever made.

  • Movie so bad Charlie Hodge did not want to play himself in the movie like the 1979 Elvis life movie with Kurt Russell.

  • I don't wanna watch the last bit, cuz i know i will start crying and my mum is in front of me :S aha

  • Why didn't they admit it was drugs that killed him

  • @justsailingalong the presley estate helped make this film and it's sounds more politically correct to say he died of a ''heart attack'' than a ''drug overdose''.

  • @msmithstud Politically correct is BS. If they admitted he died of being addicted to drugs maybe that would help someone in the future not go down his path and end up that way.

  • She NEEDED the "Presley" name..........ever wonder WHY she never remarried? Of course, she needed "the name" to make the fortune from Graceland! But then again.....Memphis has ALSO benefited from Graceland! Whitehorse just would not be the same without Graceland.....too bad it's in the HOODS of Memphis!!

  • She NEEDED the "Presley" name..........ever wonder WHY she never remarried? Of course, she needed "the name" to make the fortune from Graceland! But then again.....Memphis has ALSO benefited from Graceland! Whitehaven just would not be the same without Graceland.....too bad it's in the HOODS of Memphis!!

  • ; ( i think he really could have changed! and she shoulda gave him 1last chance

  • in his life Priscilla was the only constant. she cheated he cheated but in the end he still loved her.....never as a wife but as a friend who was the only normal part he had in his flipped upside down life.

  • this tears me up because the break up and my great grandmother that loved listening to are you lonesome tonite and now shes dead

  • there is no such thing as a perfect couple.a lot of people take the high road when judging these two

  • I love Elvis and Prescilla. She was a very good wife and i think she deserves too keep the name Presley considering she has been with him since she was 14. And yeah she may have cheated . But he cheated way more. But at the endbof the day they both love each other. And till this day she would kill just too have Elvis back.

  • She

  • pp said everything that needed to be said. i didn't know that before.

"can the boys see us!" lol.

"teddy bear, teddy bear." shoot i remember that.

  • i dunno this Elvis has no spice or even connection round him..Kurt did much better job

  • he looks like abe lincoln. By 76, elvis was much heavier than he's portrayed here. In the movie ELVIS AND THE BEAUTY QUEEN with Don Johnson and Stephanie Zimbalist, Don Johnson actually gained 40 pounds for the role. The movie's ok, but if you're offended by the criticism of Elvis don't watch it. It focuses more on his drug addiction and his relationship with Linda Thompson

  • he looks like abe lincoln. By 76, elvis was much heavier than he's portrayed here. In the movie ELVIS AND THE BEAUTY QUEEN with Don Johnson and Stephanie Zimbalist, Don Johnson actually gained 40 pounds for the role.

  • Those lambchop sideburns are almost in his mouth.

  • this part was so sad

  • This clip is so sad. I think Dale Midkiff done a great job. It must have been hard to play such a huge icon. Fair play to him.

  • Elvis looks like Johnny Cash 6:18 just sayin

  • Elvis looks like Johnny Cash ..... just sayin

  • Priscilla Presley is such a cunt.

  • @phonegalfitness like you aren't

  • 'i dont think i ever knew the woman, just the girl' i love that line. so true

  • Does anyone know the name of the piano or violin melody or whatever you want to call it, played in this scene? I can't find the name anywhere.

  • @secondbritney03 yup!! i'll upload it later

  • @secondbritney03 im looking for it as well.. i think if we google musical score for this movie for this movie we may find it together hun. add me as a friend and ill look high and low for you

  • @secondbritney03 ronnie madowell did all the music for this try him online

  • THAT whole thing just made me cry :( Then Elvis cried THEN on top of that,,,Elvis dies all in one part :( AWW I feel so bad for him when he begs her to come back and then he is so sweet when he asked if she had a gun then he cried :(

  • ok u have to understand when men lose that one woman that makes us feel loved and we know it was our on fault it just kills us inside men yes we do screw up and our women do give us a lot of chanes but men do feel awful when we lose women that love us so my advice to men dont srew up and always be there for the women who love you

  • he was a drug addict ..THATS it!!!!

  • im not saying he didnt hurt her but through out the movie its everything he might of done nothing what she did to hurt him and that isnt fair

  • i almost cried it was so sad

  • i cryed at the end of this movie my heart broke for elvis he was such a great man i hate how she hurt elvis she was not the good wife waiting at home for her husban like she wants us to think she was off screwing mike stone she has no right to use the presley name she gave up that right elvis went down hill after the divorce ill never like her he loved her so much and she just broke his heart rip elvis we remember u always

  • @tracytcb111111111111 he broke her heart 2 she loved him and she took alot from him dnt make it like he was a sweetheart at all times

  • I love how he shows how he really loves her. He probably had a few women on the side, but none of them meant as much to him as she did. He doesnt look at them the way he looks at her, you can tell <3 Elvis

  • @waffleproduction1000 -- i so agree with you. he stated that he loved her more than any woman he has ever been with. RIP Elvis Aaron Presley.

  • This is the sadest part of this film:(

  • poor elvis. he had such a complicated life. RIP EP :(

  • Aw, I love them both, it's just a great sweet, but sad story. Very well, put together and is one of my favorite (if nit favorite ) Movie of mine! I love the story between them!

  • Poor Lisa Marie, she and her father had so much love for each other, and she never had the chance to spend more time with him. With all the deadbeat abusive dads out there (my kids had one) it is such a shame to see a great one to end up this way. I wish they would have had more time together. God bless you Lisa Marie.

  • I agree with both comments! She knew what she was getting into she lived with him all those years before she married him. She left him, so why did she not give up his name too? It was because she was cashing in herself. If it was not for him she would still be some unknown female in Germany!

  • makes me wonder what the movie would be like told out of E's eyes? hum that would be lil more insitefull huh? Bottom line he was the star of his time and they are alot of interviews with his other guys on here yall put them together and draw your own opion

  • Like veubank said, things were a lot different then and most women kept their married name until they got remarried. Cilla never got remarried, I believe. She had a few long relationships but not marriage.

  • @Kittycat918 Yes she did. She married Giabralti and had a baby with him when she was 42 now hes 23 and shes 65. BUT she KEPT the PRESLEY NAME.

  • OMG she did not keep his last name just to profit!!! That is dispicable that you'd even say so phonegalfitness!!!!! she has been quoted in an interview saying, "The reason I kept the Presley name is because I loved Elvis. He was my first and only true love, the father of my child, and I wanna keep his memory alive in anyway possible."

  • in this last scene i think Dale finally gets close to capturing Elvis at least at this stage of his life

  • I dont think Cilla is a bad person. She saved Graceland after he died. And she had every right to want to safe it for her daughter.

  • i,m putting it out . who knows as for the pills i take em it helps life

  • Comment removed

  • @ALDADOG that is total bullshit and u know it hes a star they all usually ho around like that and he was selfish and he had his good moments and bad ones 2 but who knows for sure except for the 2 of them and u dk wat hetook her thru and wat she did so stop pretending u do ur not a damn fly on the wall so stop actin like u were

  • Most women when they have children keep their married name, well maybe not now but it was the custom then, I never took my maiden name back, which I had

  • @ALDADOG elvis did cheat on her alot for example ann maraget

that is said on alot of websites and in alot of books

  • That sucks.

    Telling someone that someone died.

Case in point that someone had to tell Lisa Marie about her daddy being gone.

  • @valjoedg She had just gone to bed, he told her too, she saw him on the floor, she is the one who called Linda and told her, it did not happen as in the movie, sorry.

  • it,s so easy to slip into a trap either drugs or drink ,As elvis said" i need em"and until you,ve walked a mile in my shoes you cant feel what i feel hopefullly i wont have to live up to an image and i can be myself but i,m not sure people will accept the real me

  • @budders2001 In those days everyone was on pills for whatever ailed them, and there were the power lunches and happy hours, Boose and drugs were common and used by all of us, some my age still use them, I don't, I'm 79, it as just the way things were in the 60's and 70's, hard to explain to younger people

  • his speaking voice is similar to elvis's i think

  • apparently not long before his death he had ran out of pills he called the pharmacy, , the owner open up for him and let him pick through the narcotics like people witrh candy, with no one to say no to him, it is a wonder he did not die sooner,

  • I began crying when Elvis dies

  • @CourtneyLouise94 Me 2, like a baby

  • never judge an idol based on a movie, its NEVER 100% accurate, theres always someone portraying them in a different light just for their own benefit, and career... this movie is bullshit. priscillas an opportunists and a liar, lets remember what elvis wanted us to, not his personal life but the great music and movies he left for us... i should have never watched this movie.

  • Who knows what Elvis could have done with his life if it hadn't been for the drugs?!? What a waste!!

  • I don't think anyone knew how much pain Elvis was in. He's was a tortured man and he was his own worse enemy. At least he's finally at peace.

  • same here Baxie but, we will take anything to see what Elvis' life was like. ")

  • this is so sad, it makes me sick.. i don't know why i always watch it.

  • In my opinion, Elvis should never have gotten married. What did Cilla expect baseball games & barbecues? Elvis had both looks & fortune...and when you have both as Lamar Fike put it "the women come fast & hard."

  • If only Elvis had a chance to tell his side of the story! Priscilla comes across as Elvis being the demon and her being the innocent angel in the marriage! Takes two to Tango!

  • @gowes...Elvis DID NOT commit suicide with his daughter in the next room!! He wouldn't have done that anyway, but if he saved up his pills, he would have had his complete senses about him & known his daughter was there & leaving later that day. He was also concerned about his father's heart & what the stress of his divorce was doing--what about his death? Elvis would not have killed himself over Priscilla leaving him almost 6 yrs earlier on 12/30/71. Plus he had a new fiancee--Ginger Alden!

  • @epmelodygirl he loved god too much to commit sucide

  • @epmelodygirl You're right. Why would someone who is fixing to commit suicide go to the dentist and exercise hours before. The book ELVIS:WHAT HAPPENED? did depress him though.

  • @epmelodygirl you say he was going to marry Ginger Alden, That had been debatable at times. Dick Grob, chief of security, said that Elvis had no intentions of ever marrying into that family. Billy Smith also said that Elvis was going to bring another girl on the tour w/ him if Ginger didn't want to go. But then again, maybe he did propose. She was 22 years younger than him.

  • The Fate is strange, if Linda Thomson stayed with Elvis on August 16 1977, I think Elvis is still alive ... And for me the best book on Elvis, which is close to the truth is: "The Careless Love" by Peter Guralnick .

  • actually, i believe his heart belonged to his mama lol

  • i wish Elvis would have written a book about himself before he died... so we could hear it straight from him what he was really like...

  • How many affairs did Elvis have while they were married?? Does anyone know?? No matter how much you read or see...you never know the absolute truth..only speculations. Will anyone ever know the real truth?! I'm tired of speculating and tired of wanting to know what really happened. Maybe this is Gods way of telling the world to butt out...who knows!!

  • edudrop9 Going by Grualnick's "Careless Love" & "Elvis: Day by Day," plus individual interviews & books, the woman that are well documented in the marriage are Susan Henning 68-69 (Priscilla even shows her picture in Elvis by the Presleys), Barbara Leigh 70-72 who's book "The King, McQueen & the Love Machine" is backed up by Joe Esposito, Kathy Westmoreland 70-77 who was with Elvis in Vegas & touring, & Joyce Bova the White House aide. Other women are mentioned in Guralnick, but not by name.

  • I just hope it all shows up since I had to do it in sections...LOL...

  • I know that was a lot for me to say but I just wanted to say how I felt from the movie and from some of the things I have read in the comments section...freedom of speech can sometimes have its benefits...thanks for listening...

  • REGARDLESS I LOVE ELVIS AND I STILL THINK HE IS ONE OF THE GREATEST PEOPLE TO HAVE EVER GRACED US WITH HIS PRESENCEGod gives and He takes away, but He also gives back in a better form or at least thats what I believeand without belief in something greater than ourselveswhats the point.I LOVE YOU ELVIS I THANK GOD YOU EXISTED FOR EVEN A LITTLE WHILEI NEVER MET YOU BUT YOU WERE THE MANROCK ON!!!!

  • ...if we only knew the people who were right in the next room overdosing on something...we would probably choke on our own vomit...cause thats what we are...like dogs back to their own vomit...trying to coax and lie and cheat our way through pain, anguish, disgust...all of which seems to have been several of the burdens that Elvis had to carry daily...may God have his soul now...it would be devastating to know that he traded this hell for an even worse one.

  • edudrop9 What an arrogant thing to say! What is your basic malfunction and why are you talking about dog vomit??? That's what we are? Maybe YOU are, but while not perfect, neither am I or most people including Elvis!! Elvis had no reason to be disgusted with anything he did. Why because he cheated? Well so did Priscilla--more than one time & since 1968!!

  • and make him believe that pills were the only way to go? And even today he seems to still try and be the voice of Elvis, living off of his memory and legacy. And why that makes me angry I dont know..its none of my businessbut it just does. Everyone has addictions whether they know and believe they exist or not. Most people are cowards and don't want to face what it is they are at the mercy of...again...whether its pills, sex, alcohol, cocaine...what ever..

  • And isn't that like the rest of us though we aren't stars...we want always what will kill us or destroy us or maim us...we just can't help it or we can and just don't want to. Whether any of this movie is true or not only God knows, and the people who lived it, none of us will ever know, we will only ever speculate...and as for Joe Esposito...why do I always feel like he was an instigator, the snake in the grass, the leech...as if he was the one who created the atmosphere to pacify Elvis...

  • edudrop9 Yes, there are a lot of things you can know for certain are false in this story. Just by comparing Priscilla's constantly changing facts, you can know a lot of things don't match up. She changes the dates and the facts just enough to make herself look more innocent. One book that sets the facts and dates is Elvis: Day by Day which is a compilation done after he did 12 years of research, had access to the Graceland archives, and wrote Last Train to Memphis & Careless Love.

  • Why are you denigrating Joe? Joe never instigated or had anything to do with Elvis's drugs. How about some blame on the doctor, and the enablers! Joe lived in California at the end of Elvis's life and came in for the tours.

  • How mysteriously I have been drawn to them both and how their musical and vocal talents still have the ability to take people's breaths away...they do mine at least. I just love Elvis and I watch this movie, though it seems cruel at times and sad and disheartening, but can't help but to love it. Someone said that no one has the perfect life no matter how poor or how rich..and Elvis had some of everything, except what he needed.

  • After reading some of the comments below I don't know what I feel and I really don't have an opinion as to if he killed himself or not. I wasn't even born when Elvis was alive and the thing is...I am the biggest Elvis fan...I love him and will never meet him and thats so strange to me. In the world we live in everyone wants to go to Lil Wayne and Beyonce concerts and there's nothing wrong with that...

  • I won't go into detail, but will say that after studying Elvis and his death, I can say without a doubt that Elvis Presley did NOT kill himself! There are many details in the toxicology report alone that will tell you this, but also in his life and what happened around that time. I know with a certainty that Elvis would not have killed himself with his little daughter in the next room!! Period--end of that false accusation.

  • I read the book&watched this movie several times. We are all human&make mistakes in life but we as humans try to forgive, move on&luv again. I feel they could have helped him by taking the drugs away&firing his manager. Maybe taking him to the woods or someplace without all the bs let him rest&have some peace. Maybe if that happened he could get back to his old self being carefree&happy all the times. R.I.P Elvis!

  • pksgigi I have to research this, but according to a prior poster Joe Esposito's gf Shirley Dieu said this is NOT what happened. Elvis was not wearing a costume, but a snowmobile suit since they had been skiing & Priscilla cruelly mocked & laughed at him. Also, Elvis was not there to see Priscilla at this late date & many women later, but to see Lisa Marie. We only have her word this conversation even took place. Elvis continued to sing well until the end, and still drew huge crowds!

  • Elvis's death was NOT a suicide. His 9 year old daughter was in the next room & could have easily found his body. She did see his body right after he was found it, & when locked out pounded on the door yelling something was wrong with her daddy. Do you think Elvis would have done that to his beloved daughter period much less with her there. Plus, there was concern for his father's heart condition, &the fact he went to the dentist the night before--who spends their last night at the dentist?

  • Also, Elvis was making future plans. He was planning on getting help for his pill problems after this next tour, making more & better movies, remodeling Graceland, and he had become engaged to 20 year old Ginger Alden (she was sleeping in his bed & found his body). There are different views on whether they would have married, but she had excepted his proposal & they planned a Christmas wedding.

  • Make that ACCEPTED his proposal.

  • Hell people make plans all the time and then get so depressed they kill themselves. No matter what they had going on, it was just a thought i had watching the movie....

  • You know...alot of ppl are so sensitive about Elvis...I love him period and I had too many thoughts while watching this movie, some good and some bad...so I respect you when you say things ran through your mind while watching....

  • So were you there when he died, because anyone can say anything to cover up a stars death, i was just saying because he seemed so depressed, and just because lisa marie saw his body and he was in the next room doesn't mean he didn't overdose on pills, if you were a friend of his and wanted to not let his fans know he killed himself wouldn't you say and pay the doctor to say it was a heartattack, Hey I know someone who was at the doctor's office and went home and killed them self. just saying.

  • yes I know he did but his outfits on stage were costumes.

  • From the way this scene is , It makes me think he was feeling scared as he said the fans loved his costumes, he didn't have to do anything, not like the old days, I think maybe, and I am just guessing, could his death have been a suicide, because he realizes that he wasn't going to be popular much longer. I mean after his death it was like how it was when he first started singing.

  • Comment removed

  • I am just saying that Ever since he lost his mom he was never the same... about that.. one of his bodyguards was quoted as saying elvis said about the pills.. "I need em man..." In truth I think he was looking for a figure in his life that was like his Mom... silly.. But just a thought...

  • I have come to realize that Elvis died of a broken heart... His Mom, and Losing Cilla... I think that without them, he just could not go on....

  • How would that happen when it was almost 6 years form the time she left him on Dec 30, 1971 and his death? They make it look like it was right away here, but it was years! I have always defended Priscilla when people were threatening her saying she killed him by leaving, and I still would because that is wrong both morally and in fact. After watching this, I can see how she caused people to think that by perpetuating the myth!

  • when elvis and cilla split up it truly broke his heart this movie shows that what an awesome movie

  • i think that they really loved each other. it would be hard to be with someone knowing that they were having affairs. I do think that's why Priscilla had her affair. She also wanted someone who was there with her not always away.

It would have been great if they could have gotten back together though

  • mizzclawdy Priscilla had MORE than one affair. In her book she talks about one with her dance instructor Mark in 68. She leaves out 68-72 in this movie so she also leaves out the fact they not only made love"passionately" throughout the pregnancy, but also did it again AFTER Lisa was born, but it took a couple of months & she hints the passion had lessened which is NORMAL. She thought it took to long plus she heard about him having an affair with a girl on set so she had an affair. .

  • PS. im sure they couldnt make everything completely accurate because i mean come on this movie is already like 4 hours long! if they made everything exactly how it happened it would cost lots of money and the movie would be like 8 hours long!!! i still love this movie. no matter what all of you say.

  • AMEN!!! Sometimes I wish they would make it that long...cause I would watch it and love it..just as long as it was truthful...Maybe we would learn something good about Elvis instead of all of the bull...I get tired of wanting to know him when no one really wants you to know the REAL him...its their story, not his...will someone please tell the REAL Elvis to please stand up? If they can do everything else then they can do this much for his fans!!

  • this is my favorite scene!!!! <3 <3

  • IN ADDITION TO BELOW: He was wearing overalls. Almost like a snowmobile suit. That's why Priscilla was laughing at him.

  • In the book Child Bride Shirley Dieu (Espositos girlfriend) said that this 1st scene in this clip really pissed her off because this is NOT how it happened. They were skiing and ELvis came by to show Lisa his new car and when Priscilla answered the door she was mocking him turning her head and laughing at him while he was talking. It was very cruel according to Shirley.

  • For real?? That was just cruel on Priscilla's part if that really did happen!! But why would she laugh? What was so funny?? If she loved him as she claimed...what happened then? No one says the movie is right or the books, and I just don't know. I wish ppl who are haters would just go to hell and leave Elvis alone and leave his memory for those of us who really love him....good grief...I don't know about all of these little bits of info that others know, but I hope she wasn't so cruel.

  • Don't get me wrong, I love Elvis, I'm just a little unsure of Priscilla's intentions now after reading Child Bride and hearing stories from Elvis' guys about her.

I think she did a great thing by opening Graceland but did she really do it for Lisa, Or to benefit herself???

  • Comment removed

  • Child Bride made me thinki twice about Elvis & Me. I'm sure some of it is true but I think the truth is somewhere between them.

  • i agree! very well said.

  • exactly - there are 3 sides to every story of this kind - his side, her side, and the truth.

  • alright go ahead people and negative me, i was just stateing what the book says about Priscilla, DONT GET ME WRONG I LOVE HER TO DEATH! i just think Child Bride gives her a very negative persona. i like Elvis and Me better!!!!

  • @chersuper she defiently did it for both.

  • to benefit herself, of course.. she has used the Presley name to cash in for herself over and over throughout the years since Elvis' passing - she's a total sellout.

  • i totally agree

  • @phonegalfitness i agree

  • @phonegalfitness I see it more as a devotion of her life to his. She's kept his memory alive. She's kept his estate profitable for his kids and grandkids. Easy to judge when you aren't living her life. I admire her for what she's done and I think Elvis would have appreciated it.

  • @phonegalfitness Girl! You are right on the money there! To this day I cannot stand her & I wonder what our wonderful Elvis would say if he were here to defend himself. This might have made a good romance/drama novel, but it's a crock. I just love how Priscilla makes herself out to be the victim. What a witch!

  • @crazymamaK i couldnt put it better my self

  • @phonegalfitness Like poor Pricilla. She was fucking around on Elvis Presley before they were married and in 1968. Makes Elvis Presley look like the bad person alone. Not her.

  • @BBQFanNo1 yea thats bullshit

  • @BBQFanNo1 And she was no virgin like she claimed. She KNEW Elvis would NEVER marry a non virgin she screwed guys to meet Elvis. SHe detested the book Child Bride cause it told the ENTIRE TRUTH about her. AND she said "I just wish the writer didnt make me out to be such a whore" Well she didnt she just told the TRUTH

  • @jerzeytpke She will always be a bitch to me. She stinks.

  • @phonegalfitness Elvis Presley was too good for her.

  • WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO omg yes u got it back

  • i feel for lisa marie. she misses him

  • I have this movie on VHS ..I LOVE IT..

  • I think that he knew that he was going to die... I think he really did love her, but could not bring himself to get off the pills that he was on.... Sad really... I think that if he got off the pills, maybe the mood swings would have stopped...

  • I think he knew he was gonna die too. It gets really obvious in the "Elvis in Concert" shows because he gives out a lot of clues during the whole thing.

  • He really did seem so said in his last concert as if you really could see that he knew it was all over. And his song, I Did It My Way or My Way....really in my opinion, was the clincher and it hurt to hear him sing it. But I love him and all he stood for..you love him all or none at all...period.

  • I read today that she left him and moved straight in with another man and I saw it on an interview with joe esposito he said she left him for another man the interviews on youtube some canadian woman is interviewing him.

  • i saw that. didn't she leave elvis for mike stone. i have to say, i don't blame her, but at the same time shes not being honest about the sex part. we will never know the truth.

  • Joe Esposito also said how hard it was on her because she was at home while they were all partying hard with other women all the time!!

  • Allie...True Elvis and all of them were partying with other women, but Elvis & Priscilla were leading separate lives by 1970, and she was NOT sitting home alone! She had her first affair in 68, met Mike Stone in 68, and was definitely involved with him long before she shows in this movie. She told Elvis she was leaving and didn't love him in Dec 71 and 2 months later told him about Stone (from Guralnick's Careless Love) She had been with Stone for some time.

  • Ok..one question...who were all of the men she had affairs with?? Gosh, its all just soooooo sad...If it was true that the Kernal or Colonel made Elvis wed Priscilla because she had lived at Graceland for so long and that it would promote his career then Elvis and Priscilla are the ones who paid for that bit of advice...how sad if they both loved others they couldn't have or simply cared for each other in a polite way as close friends would have but was forced to marry.
