Man those girls were really on it that night - belting out vocal and harmonies. Great stuff. Nancy says she strings her Tele (not a Strat) heavy so it plays like an acoustic. Nice gnarly tone there.

There is something about the tone of Straight on that Ann does that is sexy as hell. The music is sexy too. Damn Barracuda Magic Man and Straight On was so hot, it had so much more Umph that the eighties Heart did not have. I just have a serious appreciation going on for Ann now that I can look back and honestly say No one has come close to her. Hail to the Queen!

Ann too often is criticized for being "portly". But, that only helps her to sing with greater force. Janice also. If Robert Plant had been fat, he would have had a much more powerful voice.

Ann actually said on her the discovery health channel that it is much harder for her to sing heavy. After she had surgery, she said her air flow was much better making it easier to sing..she said she was no longer running out of breath on stage, and was able to move around more during her stage preformances..

Yeh, Alone was incredible that night. It seems that Ann added a little humming at the end that she doesn't at the other shows. I got my "Hope and Glory" cd on order. If we pre-order the cd, Ann will sign it. I already got to hear Ann do "Blue Skys" live at the "Dream Boat Annie" show. Believe me, it was incredible. I have never heard Ann when her vocals were not right on.

Cool, I get to be the first person to tell you how fucking incredible that clip is. Did you film it? The thing that I love so much is being able to watch Nancy KICK ASS on that fucking Strat at the beginning and end, and she does some beautiful guitar hamonies in the middle.

The camera work is a little rough at times,(what the fuck, the pro's do it on purpose) but with one camera you captured the action effectively.

Thanks for the nice comment.  It's hard to keep a camera steady under most concert conditions. In this case the stage was rushed before the band hit the stage. So we were packed up like sardines in the front. I decided to process this video as raw as possible, just adding a little smoothness. Thanks again for the comment.
