Awesome performance! It makes me want to learn percussion just to play this song. Haha. I love love love all the energy you guys have. It makes me wanna go out there and jam with.
This is phenomenal! We just played this piece in orchestra and it was...bleh. But you guys look like you are having so much fun and it was great to watch and listen to! Love it!
I've been a fan of the Penguin Cafe since I was five years old, when my uncle bought me an album of theirs, and I would spend days listening to this strange wonderful music. The fact that your group pays tribute to their music is undeniable, but the fact that you all seem to be having so much damned fun reaffirms my faith in any and all funding for the arts. Around 3:04, I smile every time I see it. Keep playing, keep having fun, and thanks to you all for such an incredible video!

I am so glad I stumbled upon this. I think more than the music (which made my heart sing) I enjoyed the smiles on the musicians' faces. How great to enjoy what one does.
Thats the best version by far...the audience don't go wild but it was in an art museum...so the audience were probably a lot more appreciative than their lack of screaming and whistling would have you believe.
I really enjoyed that, great arrangement, and I applaud the instructor! I know these people practiced that a million times, and yet they were still enjoying the performance
Excellent!! I echo the comments of others in saying I wish I was there also. These dudes are having heaps of fun. Why such a small crowd though? Should be packing out the house!!
Well done guys! - it's often a waste of time logging in to variations of classic works, but not this time - this was *brilliantly* entertaining; not just to listen to, but to watch as well. The audience didn't deserve you!
such a great video. that conductor/teacher makes my day! and I can tell those kids really have an appreciation for good music. that being said, that audience's applause seemed a bit weak!
Wow. That gave me the chills. Everyone was into it. I used to play in winter drumline and we would have to practice our body language. I played mallets. This was sweet. I was looking for this song, and this was just what I was looking for. Thanks, it was perfect!!
We are playing this song in our orchestra group at my school. I love playing it on the viola, but this just sounds straight up awesome! You guys are amazing, I've watched many of your videos and I love it! I LOVE PERCUSSION! =D
I keep coming back to this video. You can just tell that the kids are enough inspired by the tune and the conductor [music teacher?] to come together, dress up, and make it happen. Ain't nobody telling them to practice, LOL. They certainly all have varying tastes in music, but they all must have agreed this is a killer tune to show off in concert. This should happen more. Well done all, and major shout out to the Conductor. And Oz kids, keep playing, Follow your bliss!
Absolutely! Hot Damn! These kids are great, and as a teacher, I'm gonna guess the director might have had something to do with it HAZAH! to Shannon. I agree with another commenter - though I would say that these kids just deserved a BIGGER AUDIENCE.
AWESOME! Inspiring music, expression, teamwork. Wow. Instead of reading in the paper about kids in trouble, we should be learning about kids like this.
That was amazing...such enthusiasim...are they hisgh school kids? if so, that is mind boggling...every single one of them is talented. 10 outta 10 in my books! Job Well Done!!
Musically excellent, technically nigh on perfect, choreography: silly and superb :-)
VERY very good - most enjoyable. Having a wife as a music teacher means I see many young bands and this is one of the best I have seen. Go look up EMYJO and see the level I put you at.
