Seriously, who really gives a fuck what one person thinks about whether or not 311 has "sold out." They've changed over the years, but how many bands who have been around for 18+ years sound the exact same as they did when they started? They are almost 40 now, and I think their music is going the exact opposite of selling out. They are making music they enjoy. If they were selling out, Capricorn or Volcano would have paid Rolling Stone to give them 4-star reviews.

ay roadrulesfag, 311 has gone in the shitter. i saw them in Mansfield on 7/18 this summer, that shows setlist fuckin sucked. they played all queer ass radio shit and didnt even rock out. i was waitin for freak out and some good old hard shit but it never came, they are just gettin too old. i still got love for them, but its dwindeling real fast. SA still fucks shit up tho.

Plus another thing....Nick is caked from all the years he's been around....I HIGHLY doubt he is still doing it just for money, 311 would be nothing if it weren't for the amazing fan support over the years and Nick realizes that.  They past two albums, Don't Tread on Me and Evolver haven't sold the greatest number of albums compared to their 90's work so why are they coming out with a new album cause these guys love what they do and are still gonna rock out for years to come.

One more thing....you talk about how Nick is only in it for himself..psh P-Nut and Tim could've said screw you years ago and could've very well go to another band, we've seen in many times throughout the years. P-Nut could very well play a very lame 5 second bass solo in this song, but you can see by his body language and Tim's as well... that they are still having a great time and continuing to do what brought them to where they are today....
