  • thats just amazing

  • this is one of the most insane live performances ive ever heard. un-fucking-believable.

  • such delicate control of the dynamics that guitarist has. and the flautist is tops

  • Chris T reminds me of Jonny Greenwood in so many ways.. I thought their could only be one wizard

  • what kind of loopers are Chris using here?

  • @CBoyd101 Loopers of awesome

  • genius's!

  • I wish I knew of grizzly bear three years ago... I'd kill to have seen them live

  • One of my favorite videos on youtube.

  • What is Daniel saying at 1:35? "I've lost my hair in my wonder brain."

  • "I've lost my head in my wandering"

you can also google lyrics anytime you have a question you know...

  • These lyrics aren't the same as they are on the album. Everything is the same, except for the lyrics. Thanks though.

  • life is romantic and beautiful with those musicians!!!!! so beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • they'll go down as one of the most important acts of our generation.

gb, a. collective, the walkmen, beach house, fleet foxes...a few minds that will make future generations look back and say..."i love the 00's was wrong...it wasn't all Britney, Pharrell and American Idol winners back then."

  • @deframecourt i feel as if grizzly bear and animal collective are the ones to define this generation in this genre. not necessarily beach house and fleet foxes (even though they are both great). but definitely not the walkmen. no offense.

  • This is the trippiest fucking song!

  • I love the flute.. and the flute player!

  • Now you know where Fleet Foxes' "English House"-intro comes from. This is amazing right here.

  • your right very similar, but i honestly think the fleet foxes and grizzly bear have very different sounds and it was just chance that the intros both sound the same. fleet foxes and grizzly bear are both great bands.

  • @mudbassfan I always thought Grizzly Bear were like a darker Fleet Foxes.

  • 0:13

Of Montreal played in Good Records?! And I missed it?!

  • This is crazy. I love their style of songwriting. This is easily as good as the album version.

  • i'm so mad that i missed this two years ago. f my life

  • Well i think their albums amazing

  • does any one know how to play it on guitar?

  • how would i go about doing this?

  • why don't you try googling "make youtube vids into mp3" or somesuch. Eh?

  • does anyone know what equipment Daniel uses? Not in this particular clip, but in a usual plugged-in set. Some hollow-bodied guitar and amp...

  • they can do no wrong

  • Maaan, I wish the recorded version sounded like this.

  • They overproduce their CDS, unfortunately. I saw 'em live a little while ago and I couldn't help but wonder why they do it.

  • I hope they release a live album.

  • Me too. And I have to say, I was a little disappointed with their album Horn of Plenty. It's exactly what I don't like about their studio recordings.

  • Maaan, its not up to you what musicians do or dont do, quit bitching at watch the damn video, go to the concert, buy the cd, tell everyone you know you love them, but DONT say " oh it would be better if they did this and that, what are they thinking? " art is in the hands of those who make it, not those who consume it........and they arent overproduced. its just a differnt sound then live. it gives you TWO different bands to listen to.

  • Amen.

  • totally agree... live performance is usually a chance for bands to be creative with how they present songs they've already produced... Grizzly Bear are amazing.. their albums are'nt overproduced.. everything they did to produce their albums just adds to its magnificance. Their live shows are a oppurtunity to see it in its raw form.

  • There's a pretty simple explanation actually. Recorded versions give you the ability to explore your creative without limitation. A live performance is such a limited environment (especially on a low budget) it's almost impossible to perform complex music with only a few musicians. In the studio you get to take advantage of the textural qualities of a wide variety of instruments and production techniques. This is nearly impossible live.

  • agreed! you hit what i've been trying to explain to people forever. thanks!

  • same here :( this ones a lot more ethereal and pretty.

  • i was there, i am on this film. which makes me happy.

  • if you enyoyed this, check out the Grizzly bear video via ny profile, enjoy!!

  • beautiful and amazing! love

  • Awesome.. I get a nice peek into Good Records too!

  • Nice work! Great song, of course, but cool to see it live acoustic. Thanks for grabbing great audio! I know it's a chore sometimes...

  • That was really wonderful.
