I was late to see this video but I can feel for you dude. I too am divorced and all I can say is that it does get better. i went through a very similar thing a few years ago, and felt very much the same as you have done. i still get to see my dog from time to time years on. if i can give 1 piece of advice, dont get into anything too serious until youre ready. it will mess with your head all over again. good luck on getting your dog back where she belongs

I know how hard it is to deal with a dog like that. I have a beautiful boxer that looked identical to yours. I got her on my 8th birthday, she was immediately my bestfriend. I took her on walks, we took naps, we spent a ton of time together. Then one day she looked very down and had a horrid limp. I rushed her to the Pet Vet and they took xrays and found out that she had hip dysphasia, she was in horrible pain. Then oneday the next week I came home to find her dead in her Kennel. RIP Rosie <3

When I dropped out of college and all my friends went back to school, I was home alone, not many friends around cause they were all back at their respective schools. I was very depressed and being alone didn't help that. My dog was my best buddy, I can't imagine what to do without him.

Everyone told me it just takes time; you gotta focus on yourself; there's plenty of fish in the sea, etc. And I remember that feeling like all you want to do is punch them all in the mouth. but.. it is true. Everyone one of them was right. Just use it to lift you up when you're down, man. It will not last forever. And, most importantly, beauty is not uncommon. Your wife probably was beautiful, and great. Blessing in disguise. I'll tell you a story. I moved overseas when I was 14. We couldn't take my dog, so we gave him to my uncle and his family. No dog will ever fully replace Copper (he was my frist puppy..) but, when we got to Italy we got a new puppy, and I met so... many.... CHICKS!! just taking my puppy outside. he was THE playmaker.
So my advice is, still love abby, of course. But go out and get yourself a puppy. And just let the puppy do all the work. You might just meet a nice girl.

I have also been through a divorce and at the age of only 25 after 5 years of marriage. We just found that things were not going in the direction we liked and knew that if we stayed together it would only have made things worse. It was very rough at the time because I felt very lost, but it was also the best thing for my life. I ended up meeting a wonderful woman years later who was the jelly to my peanut butter lol. We now have two kids and life is great. Stumbling blocks are only temporary

I'm sorry Dunk. It must be tough for you. When I dropped out of college and all my friends went back to school, I was home alone, not many friends around cause they were all back at their respective schools. I was very depressed and being alone didn't help that. My dog was my best buddy, I can't imagine what to do without him.
Maybe you should look into getting another dog.

I've been there with the woman trouble too. Everyone told me it just takes time; you gotta focus on yourself; there's plenty of fish in the sea, etc. And I remember that feeling like all you want to do is punch them all in the mouth. but.. it is true. Everyone one of them was right. Just use it to lift you up when you're down, man. It will not last forever. And, most importantly, beauty is not uncommon. Your wife probably was beautiful, and great. Most women are. Get a puppy and go find one!!

Blessing in disguise. I'll tell you a story. I moved overseas when I was 14. We couldn't take my dog, so we gave him to my uncle and his family. No dog will ever fully replace Copper (he was my frist puppy..) but, when we got to Italy we got a new puppy, and I met so... many.... CHICKS!! just taking my puppy outside. he was THE playmaker.
So my advice is, still love abby, of course. But go out and get yourself a puppy. And just let the puppy do all the work. You might just meet a nice girl.

I`m single and not about to settle down anytime soon, but I had a girl for almost 4 years before we ended it, so I can relate to some extent.

I have also been through a divorce and at the age of only 25 after 5 years of marriage. We just found that things were not going in the direction we liked and knew that if we stayed together it would only have made things worse. It was very rough at the time because I felt very lost, but it was also the best thing for my life. I ended up meeting a wonderful woman years later who was the jelly to my peanut butter lol. We now have two kids and life is great. Stumbling blocks are only temporary

Coming from a Cat person, I understand this entirely. I come home from work and look forward to my cat laying on my pillow next to me. While there's not nearly the amount that you can do with cats as you can with dogs, we still understand man.
