dont get me wrong, i am a fan of amanda. i just dont get this song. its sort of a contradiction. She was known in the 70's and 80's to go to Studio 54, and made a couple of disco songs including fashion pack. this song is not one of my favorites. dont really like it,

@kylemannn21 She never wanted to make Disco. At the beginning she loved rock. So if she made so many disco song, it because her agency told her to sing disco because it was the period ( 80's ) :)

@kylemannn21 Amanda Lear is all about contradiction.(Opening line is "I love a song of contradiction" sums up the whole song). Listen closely to the lyric and "Disco" is in fact a metaphor for her current man and him really not being her type. She refers to him as Disco, "You're a song without surprise, with a vacant look in your eyes". The lyric could be interpreted different ways by different people. If people are confused it will make them think and listen. A very good thing I think.
