mm. above average link, but you could be better. Try using less Dair (it has massive ending lag, if you miss you're basically screwed) and up B (leaves you helpless on descent). You should also incorporate a lot more Zair into your game, especially vs an opponent like Ike where keeping your distance will give you a big advantage. Link is a great counter to Ike with all his long and medium ranged options :)
Ok, people can't be "better" if they lost. Doesn't matter how much strategy or how "unlucky" they were, or how much they "missed" bottom line, Link lost, Ike won.

Well, I meant survival in the sense of, "will do whatever you have to in order to win" different scenarios granted they want to "win" one way or the other. And.."QQ" is a gamer term, usually thrown at someone when they're complaining about dying or complaining about the tactics another player is using.
Of course not, who would? But the point is, more often than not, you end up fighting loads of people like that, and their argument normally goes something like what I've stated (normally with quite a bit less intellect) and unfortunately, it is a very valid argument.
I understand the point you are getting at and thats about fighting for fun, rather than using annoying techniques like Falco's 'infinite' grab and other cheap tactics but the fact of the matter is that the tactics exist. This game was not meant to be amazingly balanced, yes the cheap tricks are there and the people who use characters with them have every right to take full advantage of them, they are allowed by the moveset and its basic and sensible strategy to play to your strenghts
fair enough, but at the same time i welcome them to use the annoying strategies of their characters as well. Like i said the game wasn't designed to be uber balanced and so there will always be certain movesets that break the gameplay but its still enjoyable
Yes, i havent played in a few months but my characters were Link and Ganondorf, i guess because i hate myself a little but moreso because their fighting style just meshed with me better than those of other characters
