Hey there! Have you thought about - fast abs magic (just google it)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate got hot Six pack abs and lost a truck load of of weight with it.
@Starbuckfsd The original question referred to the lack of use of salt in recipes. Salt makes you retain water, and also does so when in high levels in the blood. This leads to an increase in blood volume, which leads to high blood pressure. Sodium is also processed in the kidneys, and while we only need around 500-600mg of sodium daily, the average American gets around 3500 to 4000 mg. Leads to kidney failure. Hi there, i find your videos very helpful. Just wanted to know if you can't find the yellow squash will Zucchini be a suitable substitute in terms of texture and calories? Cheers.
I tried this > and failed. badly. I am yet to make one of your recipes correctly. I think I'ma just stick to protein shakes and fruits/vegetables with nothing else.
Hey man I was wondering how many meals a deal you eat and how many times/hours a day you workout. Big fan of your recipes/videos here, hope to see an answer,
I just mixed a packet of myoplex chocolate meal replacement with skim milk, water, a shot of espresso a tablespoon of all natural peanut butter and ice cubes. Wow!! flavour explosion in my mouth!! Cafe mocha!!
@leanbodylifestyle I hope you know I wasn't complaining. The recipe is fine, I am sure it is as tasty as some of your other recipes I have enjoyed. I was only commenting that carbs as a macro nutrient is not the cause of weight gain. fibrous and starchy carbs are healthy. Eating too much & inactivity causes weight gain. Eating less & exercising more causes weight loss. My take away message being that portion control and cooking method are key. 100 cal of pasta = 100 cal of squash
I am totally aware that too much salt can be bad for you. Most Americans are eating way too much salt. But I can't help thinking, when do you have your salt? I see no better opportunity than drop a small amount of salt in this, and make it taste so much better.
My background is Italian. I could never stomach a veggie substitute for pasta. I eat a spelt pasta on legs day every week. It's portion control and cooking method that matters. You can eat the foods you like, just eat less of it if your goal is weight loss.
@cheznazi I suspect opposing channels trying do something along the same lines as leanbodylifestyle, a thumbs down out of pure spite to try ruin a good thing, a-holes lol.........your a champ michael, keep it up !
What kind of diet do you "follow/promote"? I notice there is often neither fat or carbohydrates. Myself I have added fat free mass and lost fat in the same period of time using a diet with high protein, moderate carbs and moderate fat with about 300-500 kcal deficit per day.
I would be interested in hearing your arguments for not having neither a significant amount of fat or carbohydrates in a diet.
Other than that, love your videos, keep em coming.
You can actually eat the seeds from the spaghetti squash if you want some added nutrition/don't want to waste them. Preheat your oven to 275 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Then just rinse the seeds, drizzle lightly with EVOO, sprinkle with sea salt, and bake for 10-15 minutes.
Iloveursis@ actually butter contains unhealthy transfats, as do most dairy products, the reason is milk was made for baby animals not for full grown humans, cow milk made for a calf contains transfats to fatten the baby up and contains high amounts of calcium to help it grow due to its small, delicate frame when first born. Hence, stay away from dairy and don't even go near butter!
@IanOnWeb when u get butter and anything ither than lean red meat check the nutritional label there is a ckear indication of trans fat and yes lots of sat. fat! just dont eat it :) :P

@danielm0rk Salt makes you fat, the purpose of these videos is lean cooking.
PaleHorseWC2 3 months ago
@PaleHorseWC2 You can do lean cooking with salt. Salt is not necessarily bad for you.
danielm0rk 3 months ago
@PaleHorseWC2 Sources? Your statement is total crap. If salt makes you fat, I'd weigh 500lbs by now...but no....a healthy 175pds thanks...
