I wanna see you do what Kareem was doin in 97, no endurence shit. I bet you dint even know who Kareem is, WTF Is up with young skaters these days. Yall need to know your skateboarding history befor you talk shit.
can somebody explain me what happened with this guy???? i mean, he was awesome . he even won slam city jam contest !!! ... and he just desappeared like that ??? .... i will appreciate if someone can tell me what happened !! ...... thanks !!!!
@camarlillos22 he took time off after city stars/axion to do real estate(yeah it sounds funny), but city stars is back, with a very good team. and there is some recent footy of him, watch eintes crailtap video he makes a guest apperance and does a bs flip off a kicker, also axion is back but he does not own the brand supposely
heheh cool man, ja ik ben ook nog in die andere hal geweest ja, maar ik had me deckie niet bij, was wel jammer :) en dat was zo'n mooie zomer toen.. Dag in dag uit skaten, hele dag door .
Love that era, i was there at that time, i was 13.. the whole scene sucks nowadays.. like this better, skateboarding is no more about style anymore... that's sad..
well, it can be argued that style was lost even in the 90's when skating turned to only technical street skating at 2 miles an hour, riding 33 mm wheels with circus tent pants listening to crap rap music in the 90's.
Look at Hosoi and others for real style in the 80's.
but he was unique in that time and that matters most, now a days there a lot o f skaters with sick tricks, but there is nothing special on them, they look all the same
1 of The nicest & smoothest styles ever In skateb. history: Kareem Campbell! I had the chance 2 speak with him once here In swe, Gothenburg & he was such a cool guy, really nice! Anyhow, I must say that I honestly like skate from this era',especially since I was at my peak In skate but also since It wasn't so developed as today.Skateb. 2day has reached a sick level & that's so impressive, tricks you never though were possible are today. Longlive the "wooden board"! (1of2)
Kareem was a member of Venice based Mexican Surf/Skate Association (MSA) back in the late 80's as a young teen! Cesario "Block" Montano probably trained this guy to become pro in the 90's! ;P
Another thing I like with skateb. from this period Is that when some1 had a particular style It was appreciated.Today alot of skaters seem to land the tricks In the exact same style,"magnificent truck landings, which Is assome however! My favorite of all time was & still Is M.Carroll. Regards/ Cojones (p.s. check my skatevid: "a tremendous motion picture" here on youtube/ Peace!
@jeannebeanne37 axion shoes are back. but he isnt involved with them anymore. they actually ar releeasing a aaries and kck remake in a couple of months
Kareem's unique, the tricks seem to just spring up from nowhere with him.

this guy has no endurance, or he's just lazy
also, the only trick he can really do is some variation of a hard flip
gauchebag 1 year ago
@gauchebag @ douchebag wtf are you talking about endurance? maybe you should look into cycling, this is skateboarding bitch!
