For those who may be interested, "We The Living" starring Alida Valli is now out on DVD - this movie was almost "lost" because of how Italian government authorities during Mussolini's time tried to destroy it... its a rare copy thats now on DVD

'Miracle of the Bells' w/ Fred MacMurray

was the only film I saw her in. That was as a teenager. It was a movie my mother searched for on video for years. Finally it

came on the Late, Late Show (remember those?) and she got me up to watch it.

Never forgot Valli's Joan of Arc. More than

conventionally pretty, but like Ingrid Bergman---you're just not looking at anyone else when they are onscreen.

Alida Valli was not so well known? but surely from the photo frames I just saw I saw and felt Stardum* Wonderful images of this woman. Yes she had that certain something that crys out to be discovered.
