  • every car should sound like this one *_*!!!

  • off the trailer and into the garage, how sad.

  • bad azz Coronet ya got there \m/

  • i'm not much of a mopar guy, but i always loved the back pillar on these cars, along with the raw power the exhaust unleashed.

  • 2 persons are grey sox weares LOL

this ride is super de luxe,. 4real!!

  • That sounds ultra sweet. You should make a recording where you take it through some gears.

  • 1 person drives a honda

  • Elephant engined Mopars!

  • "sounds like a dream" yeah a wet dream oops i said that out loud

  • ITs like a block party lol. I bet it about pops your ears when you pull in that garage.

  • Thanks for all the compliments! This is my 1966 dodge coronet. It has a 440 and runs 11.90s in the 1/4 through the mufflers on drag radials. Its loud and fast, just the way i like it!!! Check out my burnout, search "columbus mopar show" and you will find it!

  • @jimmyc6677

hey! wow, you found this video of all other videos XD i'm definitely going to find those vids of your car on your page, its awesome!

  • Just make sure when you drive it around out on the lonely desert highways, you don't get chased by an old rusty tanker truck! xD

  • I notice it gets the prime parking spot.

  • Sounds just wicked man, I love the sound of a nice set of flowmasters, sounds perfect.

  • dude, if you like that kind of sound, you outta hit englishtown new jersey, they have a track there and usually tons of v8 muscle cars are there

  • Hemi Orange?

  • its gunna stay in that garage forever i bet...

  • naw, you should see the miles that thing's got racked up. it's tagged and everything, somehow this machine is still street legal.

  • Nice car,as a kid I wasn't really a fan of those years.Now that I'm older I love them,weird how that works.

  • I'm just shy of 19, your comment makes me wonder what models I'll change my mind about when I'm my father's age? A fun thought =)

  • LOL I'm about to turn 21,I guess I already talk like an old man?I used to like the older rounder late 60's early 70's cars. Now that I'm older I prefer the boxier looking muscle cars. For example I used to like the 69 gto the best but now the 64.Also My favorite nova was the 69 looking body style but now it's the 66.I had a 71 superbee with a 69 charger 383 and a pistol grip 4 speed before I bought my 64 impala.

  • I'm still with my humble 2000 Saturn SL1, no guts but she still runs like brand new after 200xxx miles so that's something worth noting, and i do mean like brand new, that engine hasn't given me any trouble =) I love the look of the newer muscle cars like the 2010 Mustang and Camaro, because they went back to the older sharp-angled and wide-hipped style with a bunch of new-age design elements incorporated into them to keep it fresh. I like current gen stuff, but I love the 3rd gen Camaro LOTS

  • I love Third Gen Camaros too. I sometimes forget that I own one unless I check out my own Youtube channel. My IROC has been sitting in the garage with bent rods for a couple months now.

  • nah, it's not a small block. indeed it's a 440 magnum. But you should totally build yours up and post some videos, maybe some work-in-progress videos too =)

  • Nice vid, too bad he didn't uncork it.

  • MOPAR RULESSS!!!!

    And i love the color!!!

  • amazing sound

does it has an other engine or other pipes??

    5*

  • Corvettes where nothing to get excited about until the last 3 years. prior to that it wasn't since the early sixties that they made a really cool car. Ask anyone who has owned a med 86 to 90 what they where like.

  • I truelly think both cars are nice, but if i had to choose one it would be the corvette, but if i had the money to buy either of the 2 i wouldnt i would buy an older car cause even though they have great take off and stuff those cars are never going to have the torque and power some of the older cars have its just a fact of how they are made

  • It's completely up to the custom build. A standard Coronet, when it was brand new in the 60s, will not match up to a 2009 Corvette. The reason the older ones have more torque is because almost none of the parts are stock. If you talked to the owner of this orange one, he'll tell you that pretty much the only thing left that's stock is the body panels. So without modification, newer cars have much more torque and horsepower per litre of displacement. It's all about looks these days though =)

  • it would be alot harder to keep those cars going if they had the power of a new corvette because of the old technology they had. some versions of the Hemi's back then actually had well over 500hp tho it didnt say that in the brochure. like in fast n furious 2 or 3 where they're racin the "muscle cars" n the guy says "the orange hemi is pushin like 425hp". alot of ppl hate those movie's bcuz of that bullshit quote.

  • Do you even know what you're talking about? Grow up a little bit more then come back to us, this is a conversation about efficiency and conservation of precious nonrenewable resources. Also, learn to hit reply when you want to address someone directly. Otherwise I'm the only one that gets the notification since I posted the video.

  • looks like mid 50's, i have a 49 Cornet and looks nothing like it

  • 1966 man...

  • i so agree with MPLSTORM mopar will always be around and better

  • Okay, everyone that I told about the engine being bigger than a 440...I was wrong. Indeed, it is the 440 Magnum engine. Just clearing that up.

  • Viper has been faster in every way since the Viper came out, the Vette is horse shit, It was only till the Zr1 that the VIper has competition, but the VIper still came out on top at Nurburgring beating the Vette by 4 or more seconds which is alot lol sad for the Vette, The Challenger is lightyears ahead of the Camaro and came out 2 years before lol fuck GM man, Ford or Gm cant fuck with Mopar racing~

  • Really. The challenger is light years head of the camaro. Please describe the challengers rear suspension.

  • the challenger is a good looking car. performance wise...id rather have the money.

  • The Vette Z06 is pulling out numbers equal to the Vipers now, and the Vipers are a dying breed. They're being pulled off the market because the Z06 is offering comparable performance for way less out of a man's wallet. Plus, the Vipers had horrible problems with weight balance, the rear slides out too easily, thus on their competition coupe they had the giant-ass wing (which still only helped at speeds faster than 90mph, not in low-speed sharp corners where grip matters most)

  • wrong wrong wrong

  • Wait a sec, why am I even arguing this with you? This video is about a Dodge Coronet, neither a Z06 nor a Viper. lol lets just stop this, I'm obviously a Corvette fan and you're obviously a Viper fan and both of us aren't gonna be able to change the other, so how about we act like grown men and accept our differences?

  • No. Dodge said the Viper is still going for another 4 years. And if you watch the nurburgring video of the ACR, you can see it do a 60MPH turn on the sharpest turn on the track. The Corvette has history, and the Viper will go down in history. At the end of the day, both are amazing machines from America.

  • DODGE/MOPAR RACING>gm,ford

  • in some areas, yes, but to be honest the Corvette is a far greater machine than the Viper, if you want to go super car. Also, the Camaro is putting out nicer numbers than the Challenger, and the Mustang has always had higher sales...but I still think Dodges look and sound the best =)

  • WTF? I disagree with you, to be honest the fastest Corvette lost the the Viper at Nurburgring by 4 some seconds or more which is a lot, the Viper handles better, is faster, hand made, looks better, Also lets talk Challenger, came out 2 years before Camaro, has more HP and Torque, handles better, looks twice as good lol, the Camaro looks like shit admit it, No one has been able to fuck with Mopar racing, EVER, Mopar engines have the most capability, GM and Ford are so so, but aint Mopar.

  • You couldnt be anymore wrong. lol

  • Yeah, i love this car!!

    Congratulations from Brasil!

plz look mY coronet in my video "hip hot wheels"

  • Nice, my dad have a 1969 440 that he rebuilt a long time ago. It hasn't run in a long time but I am hoping well fix it up one day.

  • Beautiful slab of steel. Great sound. Congratulations!!!

  • Oh yes...

A dad of a wealthy white family living in their nice neighbourhood with the well cared lawn buys a fat coronet consuming thounsands gallons a mile...the american flag haning out there...wonderful.

This is America. Just had to thought of that stereotype.

Nevertheless, this is a beatiful car. But it costs too much concerning fuel.

  • The guy that owns it is in his late twenties, he got the car as a rusted piece of crap when he was 17, built the snazz out of it, and the only reason this car is here is because his wife died in a car accident and he needed to be home with his family. He's not really wealthy. American flag hanging on the front porch...Its nice to have a little pride in a home country. This car does not drive as a daily driver though, its a show car now. He drives a fairly economical stratus, I believe.

  • Thanks. I'm sorry.

  • Nothing against you, though, if it seemed to come off the wrong way. I'm just giving a little backstory so that it doesn't seem all-too-typical, I don't really judge people if they haven't been there to get the full story.

  • Hey Rotzloeffi,

Go jump in your Prius and buy some carbon credits......

What's wrong with burning gasoline? That's what it's there for, you tree-hugging socialist.....

If Chrysler was still able to build cars like this today, they would be on top of the world......

  • It's not like I'm a socialist, I do like muscle cars, so this would be quite controversial; but if Chrysler still built cars like today, they'd be DEAD. Especially in times like nowadays.

Not that I don't wish they did, too.

  • gd9704, the closest that Chrysler has to oldschool muscle cars right now is being built under their Dodge team as the new version of the Challenger. The sales of that car, at least in my area, are still rare. I've seen maybe three or four in my town of 60,000ish with the neighboring city of Omaha, pop. 432,921. People love to look at these cars, unfortunately we really are in a bad spot for them. No, we arent tree huggers, we just need more efficiency for the realistically salaried people.

  • thats a sick 66!!!

  • p,s, sick ass car!

  • nope. the badge/emblem if it was "440" or "440 6 pack" either had the 440 or the 440 with 3 2barrel carbs. Now it is possible to get wrong emblems and misc parts on a car factory ordered, or if you knew someone who worked in the factory. I drive a plymouth valiant scamp brougham 1973 model. it has brougham emblems on it yet they never made the brougham edition until 1974. 440 is a 440.

  • That is 1 HORNEY FALLEN ANGEL!!!

  • LOLOLOLOL that is so wrong but damn, you got me laughing XD

  • Wtf are you talking about. 440 means it is a 440ci. It's the 440 Magnum. Chrysler's largest production engine.

  • sorry about the triple post.

  • Wtf are you talking about. 440 means it is a 440ci. It's the 440 Magnum. Chrysler's largest production engine.

  • Hey exojji,if you don't know anything about old mopars just shut your piehole. How come the music and car videoes are where you find the dumbest comments?

  • Wtf are you talking about. 440 means it is a 440ci. It's the 440 Magnum. Chrysler's largest production engine.

  • exojjl: I talked to the owner of the car a while ago and he said it was not a 440ci engine, it was bigger than that, it's not a dodge engine either its a custom build. Unfortunately I don't remember how big he said it was :(

  • thanks for the information, I'll update the video description to match it :D

And yeah, he built the motor from the ground up, not sure what brand of parts he was using to build it either.

  • ohhh thats sad, but great that you like it

  • sound like a dream haha

  • I'd only had the chance to see muscle cars on videos on the internet and on TV, but to actually experience it first hand was really something I'll never forget :)

  • yea sounds great
