What I did was I kept on finding it and weakeneing it slowly (every time I found it) and now it's got like 1hp and it's asleep. I've used ultra balls and quick balls but I can't catch it. I accidentally wasted my masterball already:(

this is what i did, i traded my gengar lvl 44 to platinum from soul sliver used mean look and hypnosis( hit it before with my entei also traded) had 2 hp and started chucking ultra balls at it then caught it with 2 ultra balls

MY GUIDE FOR DUMMIES WHAT NOT TO DO: Use your masterball Make Mesprit faint Go around chasing Mespirt. Throw your DS at the wall in frustration. WHAT TO DO: But lots of ultra balls, quick balls, timer balls and if at night dusk balls. Stand on the edge of the town and alternate between route and city. Get Mespirt HP as low as possible by using false swipe. Ask your friend to throw your DS at the wall in frustration so you don't get the blame. Like if it helped.

you could go to jubilife enter the lottery at the tv satation and have a pokemon that matches a five of the numbers that she has

a quick claw ensures that your pokemon attack fisrt

after that use mean loof or black to make sure it doesnt escape

then use your balls to capture it

NOTE: the ultra ball still wont hold it

P.S you dont have to use the master ball

He *did* give advice for catching it with an ultra ball. You have to have a pokemon with either an attack like mean look or hypnosis. Then it's just like trying to catch Uxie or Azelf. Apparently you didn't listen very carefully.

You have to use the marking map on your poketch, go to the president of the pokeetch company and if you have all badges you can get about 8 new apps.

ur not suposed to do that cuz every time ur change towns/citys or routes mesprit runs away! all u have to do is go to sangem and run bak and forth throught routte 219 and sandgem town untill it comes to the water then surf on it use mean look , lower its health do the same thing again cuz its runs away after awhile and then u catch it and BOOM i no it seems like alot but it isnt really. :) hope this helps :)

lol :D That sucks. I caught my azelf yesterday. The first thing I did was put it to sleep with my Blissey's Sing, then I hacked at its HP with Palkia's Dragon Claw, then I pelted it with like, 30 Dusk Balls before it finally stuck. It actually wasnt too hard. Freezing it or putting it to sleep always works good. I'd try to get a pokemon with a move that will do one of those, but you'll have to train it so that it can take a couple hits from Azelf before fainting.
