Though I am an atheist I hope my friend who died to be in a better place? I never questioned my atheism before this, however I know that even if there is no heaven her memory will carrie on through every story dance or song that reminds me of her
I just came from the hospital were my grandma is she has been dealing with cancer for the last 4 years and had a heart attack and is ok for now but I have no idea what I am going to do when she die she has been so great to me
I lost my dad 7 months ago, and to this day there's not a day that passes where I don't feel guilty for his passing. This whole experience is probably one of the hardest things I'll ever go through, the death of a loved one is such a hard thing to go through. It's hard moving on with my life without him here. Ever since my mom and I have been going through a very tumultuous time now I'm scared I'm loosing her.
raztis your ignorant and many people do believe in god you have the choice to press stop and move on...... i just lost two friends in a two week period both to senseless murders.....thankyou for posting this very appreciated
@conneecj3 You obviously have never dealt with the death of a close friend or family member, and had the loving grace and presence of God. I I had a baby that died... It was terrible. It was horrible. But I had God, and I had peace... It is possible to have joy after the death of a friend of family member. That doesn't mean you will never be sad... It means that the measure in which you trust God, is the measure of peace you will have. Life is a balance.
@dulcefius Actually I lost my mother a year ago and I'm a Christian.. But when I wrote that I didn't think it was possible to have joy after losing a lost one. My life was a mess and I felt like crying at all times. I love God and have complete faith in him... So I do know how it feels to lose someone that means a lot to you and I have the loving grace of God in my life. :) He's the reason I'm able to cope with my mothers death today. But I'm still sad when I talk about her not being with me.
My grandpa died at 7:33 this morning, my other poppy is in the hospital with a fatal heart conditon, I can literally see my grandma breaking, and my doggy is having breathing issues. I guess this is one of god's "tests," No? I mean, my youth group leader just told me yesterday. "You are not promised a tomarrow." + "If you say I believe in god, that gives him permission to test you." And then all this happens. In 24 hours, a loved one was taken, one might be soon and one is in bad shape. Prayers?
@mysteriousmittens i'm so sorry for you every day i cry about my sister who died 5 years ago it is extremely painful i get angry throw stuff i have a very hard time in school because i can't stop thinking about her she had down syndrome and now i show support to the mentally disabled children and could you give me some tips for going through grief because i'm sick of crying and being depressed
i know her in person! she was the sinnger for camp tepeyac she told us this story.her voice is amazing.LIFETEEN im the kid that is on the poster that says HOPE .thats me kid with the long hair.plz get back to me thanks god bless
Non-Catholics, even non-Christians get through grief everyday by the millions. So how can "He alone be the one who pulls us through", if millions of non-believers every day "get through"?
I understand he got you through, but your "he alone" reference just isn't factually the case in the lives of millions of people.
So if "he alone" isn't true, what's the essence of your point? That it really helps to believe? Sure, it's comforting. What else?
@Stefatropolis Just because someone does not believe in God does not mean that God did not give that person the strength to get through a difficult time. After I became a Christian I looked back over my life and realized that God was actually there the whole time helping me and giving me strength even before I knew who he was, I believe that God helps everyone even those who do not believe in Him but only after believing do we realize that God has helped the our entire life.
To give yourself a sense of the power of belief, try to express the following;
These are two things you regard as true, correct?
1) "I believe God's existence is a FACT, not MERELY a belief."
2) "Even if I didn't believe, God's existence is still a fact."
What do they have in common?
Neither of them are facts. They're both BELIEFS about what one BELIEVES are facts. Hence, your belief that God's existence was a fact before and despite your belief.
Thank you for this kind advice. i lost my wife to cancer in august 2008 after 30 happy years of marriage and a family of 2. I know that we will meet again with Christ because the spirit is the most important aspect of our lives.
I searched for a video like this, because two days ago, my step mom found a wild kitty who was about 8 weeks old, we caught it and fed it and cared for it. we found it stumbling around when we let it out of her cage while walking. she was a gray kitten with green/ hazel eyes. she had a black nose and a huge scar on her chin. we took her to the vet and found she broke her back leg. they had to operate on her. they operated on her. right after the operation was a success, she died.i cried all nite
I love Andrea Torzala! I came across this vid because I was actually searching for her music on youtube.... I love her myspace, but it just wasn't enough!!! I want to hear/see more! Andrea, you are such an inspiration! God bless!

Hi,
There is a new organisation called: Wana Be Understood.
It is aimed at people who are going through a tough time and just want someone, who isn't going to judge, to chat to and get some advice from.
We are all in our teens and have been through hell.
We just want to help, we know that if someone had been there for us when we were having it rough, life would have been a lot easier.
Please let us help.
Email: WanaBeUnderstood@gmail.com
Thank You
