@bkallmer I've been using the hell out of Skanner. It's how your videos caught my attention. Skanner made me realize how deep an untapped resource Reaktor must be. I'd been trying to figure out how to reorganize the snapshots in The Finger for my own use (unsuccessful so far) and Lazerbass seemed a no-brainer for investigation as I'm a dubstep fan....and then Skanner got released. The manual makes it seem pretty straightforward to drop use your own samples, but no luck so far.

Is laserbass able to be bought separately for the reaktor player?

@C4pitalise Unfortunately, no. Only the full version of REAKTOR has Lazerbass. You should be able to demo it before purchasing, however.

The drums/percussion you use in the examples, are those all from battery? Especially the ones at 1:50.

@SuperKaptajnen Good question. I used loops--from the Alex Niggemann "I Call It House" and New Sound of Dubstep packs--for the house and dubstep examples. The downtempo example uses single hits from Smoker's Delight (in Ableton Live's Drum Racks), and the IDM example (I think this is the one you asked about) is a Live Drum Rack Construction Kit called "Destructo." (I do love Battery, though...)
