A couple of questions. I have made several walkthroughs, but I was really impressed on some of the movement in your video. I feel getting this realism isn't as heard as the movement. What was your frames per sec? and how many frames was this entire video set at? Also what dimension are you usually rendering walkthroughs?
I'm curious about how long this took to render, and what hardware did you use to achieve that time. BTW, this might be the nicest, most detailed 100% Revit render yet. I prefer to use 3Ds for final rendering.
Hey Grinheart your walktroughs are awsome! I give you much respect for it :) but i have a question: I am a user of Autdesk Revit 2010, and i can't seem to find mental ray for 2010, not even on the mentalray website, do you know if its allready integrated or where to find it? it would realy help me out :) Thank you
@Grinheart as you can see, my English is bad, by saying "Painting family", i thought of making model of painting (family), (picaso, dali, vincent etc) .))) the paintings :) ...then i remembered how. Once again, sorry for missleading question. Thanks
@Grinheart hey I noticed you have iMovie effects in the video which leads me to think you own a Mac, but there is no Revit for Mac (yet), are you running Revit on a Mac computer with windows installed? if yes does it work cool?
@thelworldmyworld Yes, this WT was edited in iMovie but modeled and made in Revit. You can run Revit in Mac via Desktop Parallel and the like but better yet by using Bootcamp.
@deepabbys92 I dont tthink you can compare them. AutoCAD is more directed to Civil Engineers and Revit is for Architects. Otherwise I dont see why Autodesk would make two versions of a same product
Yup... ALL revit. 12 days to complete the rendering with a medium screen resolution...this video was actually almost 4gb and was compressed to about 19mb for youtube to accept. Thanks.

@DalajLampa
Painting family? never heard of it... though you can apply them in your elements using the "paint bucket".
