  • Best use of the insult "Pie-Faced"

  • My friends and and I used to play the Deadwood drinking game, every times the word fuck was used five times, you drink, I'll let you imagine how that went down. Sometimes it was every five cocksuckers if we wanted to be a little bit less wasted mostly to be able to walk lol

  • Gentlemen watch the muck...

  • Can be combative!!

  • The world abounds in CUNT of every kind including hers.

  • I won't need no fucken knife.

  • i just finished wathching the series a couple days ago ... im going through withdrawls bad! i hope it ends soon.

  • I remember this, this was one of the most anticipated tv show fights of all time.

  • "with you in her ear, among other points of entry" I'm stealing that.

  • When the people of deadwood set out to make a mess, they certainly follow through...

  • Olyphant sounds so much like Adam Jensen in this scene.

  • @requiett "I never fucking asked for this."

  • It's kind of funny how the only reason Bullock lived past 6 episodes is because Swearengen let him. I never really liked him that much. All he did the whole show was get entirely too pissed off at people and beat the pulp out of several. Kind of a bully really.

  • @wtg2989 He reminds me of my ex, Bullock does. Self-righteous prick. :P

  • @wtg2989 That's what he was like in real life, when he became the sheriff of Deadwood he didn't ever have to kill anyone because his beatings were renowned noone wanted to mess with him, lol.

  • Bullock likes to ground and pound.

  • I hope Mr. Utter and Sol don't die....I haven't seen Season 2 yet!

I hate Johnny if he killed either one of them....Fuckin' CUNT!

  • unlike otis russel, al didn't exactly stay down. al may be down but he's never out.

  • just watched this bit on dvd and the clip isnt edited here.. this is how it happens. Its was a completley fair fight until they went ovr the balcony! Als punches seemed to really damage bullock so in my opinion he was winning slightly. Al couldve easily ended up on top of bullock and it coulda gone the other way. Just plain damn luck. Al rules!

  • Yeah Bullockwas winning after they fell. Al had broken his ribs and Seth was taking it to him. Bullok like 6ft5 so Al stood tall in this one. Two of my favorite characters in TV history.

  • What season is this?

Damn I am so behind!!! I just finished watching the entire season 1 and I F*ckin' Enjoy it!!!

  • WELCOME TO DEADWOOD

  • OK-who would you bet your money on in a fight; Al or Bill the Butcher?

  • Damn they'r both hot in my opinion XD

    love this scene haha

  • Dear God Timothy Olyphant is gorgeous.

  • "Welcome to fuckin' Deadwood!" lmao

  • Who knew that later on Bullock and his wife would become allies with Al and even invite him into their home for coffee!

  • Edited or not my man Timothy O won that fight! God I need to watch this show, can't believe I didn't when it was on HBO. I watch most of them Curb, Entourage, True Blood, Boardwalk Empire, and now Game of Thrones.

  • Looking back this was the best possible way this could have played out. Deadwood was GOLD...Still want that fucking movie I was promised.

  • We all wanted them to get into a fight.

And, we will NEVER forget this one!

  • had Al said he was sory, this whole situation could've been avoided.

  • This was the best series to ever grace our screens. David Milch is the Shakespeare of television scripwriting. Deadwood's whole crew and cast was masterful and every element including sets and music added up to the best ever presented. HBO should be very ashamed of themselves for blowing this and letting Starz rub their face in it with Spartacus.

  • This is the only episode of season 2 I've seen so far where Al looks like himself from episodes 1-4 in season 2 he's fucked up. First with his swollen eye after fighting Bullock and then the kidney stone. When do things start getting back on course for Al. Never fight Seth Bullock, you'll be cursed for weeks.

  • This must be early in the series

  • once they went over the balcony Bullck was winning and if Dan hadn't of intervened Bullock would've beat Als' ass to death lol. I wish this show would've lasted longer than 3 seasons. Just a overall great show, best HBO series ever.

  • @MaxPayne567 This clip is edited. In the dvd Version Al delivers more blows in the early scene. mainly headbutts They both would destroy each other. Its best to watch the episode rather than this cut scene alone. I hate it when people edit things...

  • Al was right..Bullock was cunt-struck. Al needed him to get all of his anger out of him...so's to set his mind straight.

  • I swear Al gave more headbutts when this started.

  • THE WORLD ABOUNDS IN CUNT OF EVERY KIND, INCLUDING HERS - IAN MCSHANE IS THE GREATEST ACTOR EVER

  • If that balcony weren't there bullock would have got his ass whooped lol

  • @jinheat

They were about equal I thought. Bullock gets him in a headlock and gives him a few good punches to the head before they reach the balcony

  • "Awful possibility in these maters is...both men sustaining mortal injury." This is why Tolliver is awesome.

  • If I was Bullock, I would of requested that Al wash his hands first...before we were to engage in hand to hand combat. lol

  • "I won't need no fuck'n knife." Best part

  • welcome to fuckin deadwood!

  • @poep85 It can be combative!

  • The reason Al pulled the knife, people, was not cowardice. It was because he no longer saw Bullock as an asset to the camp and was going to dispatch him since he had the advantage. When he spied Bullock looking at his wife and stepson, he immediately knew that the affair between Bullock and the Widow Garrett had to end and therefore backed off from killing Bullock.

It was never about a fair fight, it was never about manliness. It was all about what is best for the camp. It was political.

  • @roninredshade lol he must be psychic to know they're bullock's family

  • @tgodd: Yeah, you are right. Nice catch. I could argue Al may be smart enough to have surmised this by Bullock's long look at them and the fact that a woman and boy were arriving without a male but the principle fact remains: Al saw no more use in Bullock and was going to end him then. So, the knife pull was not out of cowardice but of ending a political liability. Thanks again.

  • @roninredshade you're right about why he was going to kill him but I think the reason he stopped was more emotional than logical. He even said later "kid staring's what unmanned me"

  • @tgodd

It's obvious to me that Al spares Seth's life out of mercy. Not that he would ever get overly emotional in the company of Dan and Johnny of course.

  • @roninredshade Actually Al later said that when he looked up and saw the kid he grew weak and couldn't finish the job on Bullock. I don't think it had anything to do with Al thinking and knowing the affair with Garrett had to end

  • Timothy Olyphant is only reason why I watch this Show. I'm glad he's back on TV with " Justified " where he plays US Marshall Rayland Givens.

  • @perpetual61

That show PALES in comparison to Deadwood. And isn't half as interesting.

  • "Welcome to fucking Deadwood. Can be combative."

  • Another great scene in the best HBO series ever!

  • If only Wild Bill were still alive.

    Good guys get screwed.

  • @Leopards100 In a fight to the death, yes, you fight however you need to. That doesn't apply here. Swearengen pulled a knife not during the fight, when he felt threatened, but after the fight was effectively over and he had armed friends to back him up. That does make him a coward.

  • check out olyphant (this bullock fella) in justified it's a great show. Not as good as deadwood naturally but there are only two shows that come close and they are the sopranos and the wire.

  • @TheLoneShooter It's true! Alot of people say that his role as Raylan Givens is alot like him playing Seth Bullock. I've only seen a little of Deadwood but I haven't missed an episode of Justified. He's amazing. I'm still pissed that he didn't get an Emmy nomination.

  • @Leopards100 If you think think going to knife a man who's beaten you in a fair fist-fight after your friends pull him off you is brave, I'd hate to think what you call cowardice.

  • "I do have a knife" lol

Fuck the cocksucker who cancelled this show.

  • Bullock was the real champ here.

  • welcome to fucking Deadwood

  • Hands down, best show Iver ever seen, in every regard

  • "with you in her ear....amongst other points of entry"

  • American Shakespeare.

At 1:50, Swearingen is talking to Bullock, with empathy, insofar as he is capable of that, man to man...

...and Bullock perceives it as an insult to his character, and to the woman he loves.

The two toughest sons of bitches in the history of television.

  • If that kid hadn't shown up, Swearengen would've drained Bullock of buckets worth of blood.

  • this show could've went on for another 4 seasons easily.

  • @AvEryBadApPLe Not really. HBO didn't have enough funds for the show. Which fucking SUCKS! I love Deadwood!

  • @darkmachete i guess it must be cheaper to splurge on cgi vampire teeth.

  • @AvEryBadApPLe I didn't realize it was the series finale when I watched it, so it was really anti-climactic.

  • Is that guy peeing in the corner? ROFL

  • Another great line after that scene was when Swearengen was gimping back into the Gem and he mutters to Trixie about Sol "wave a penny under The Jew's nose...if he's got living breath in him, it'll bring him right around!"

  • lol at your name, you've taken a stand.

I'm not justifying what the IRA may have done, or what the American Revolutionaries may have done, but to be honest terrorism is just warfare on a low budget. That said you seem like a smart man amused by the right things. Bullock's TOO right and Al's TOO ruthless in this scene. They both have things to teach us.

  • @mawhar in my mind what determines a terrorist being considered bad or evil is what that terrorist is fighting for. In the case of the American Revolutionaries, we were fighting to create a more open, fair, and just system of governance making our usage of Terrorist tactics just. The Islamists on the other hand are seeking to imprison their people in backwards, dogmatic religious medievalism. As for the IRA, they may have had a just cause at first, but they devolved into common criminals.

  • I agree, it's totally what they're fighting for, more freedom or less. The Islamists fight for less freedom - WAY less. Sharia law is crazy evil. Agree too about the IRA, and communist groups in south america are an even stronger example of ideology corrupted by violent practice. They may have started wanting equality and economic fairness etc, but when you're selling heroin to the US for guns in return you're no different than the drug lords in mexico.

  • Wave the the panties under his nose, they got living breath in em, always bring em right round.....

  • This Bullock fella has to be one of the handsomest guys on a T.V. series I've seen in a long time!

  • @RockyWhyNot I agree, he's gorgeous on this show.

  • He just has that rare "something" that kinda grabs you by the boo-boo! *wink*

  • @JoanieStubbs I'd agree if he didn't remind me so much of my ex. lol

  • @RockyWhyNot Il est encore plus beau dans "justified" ;)

  • Al is basically a coward. Having been beaten in a fair fight, he draws the weapon he professed not to need on an opponent who had been subdued by friendly interference. If that isn't cowardice, I don't know what is.

  • The real Al Swearengin not only would have cheated with the blade..but he wouldn't have been swayed by Bullocks wife and kid showing up..he would have gutted him right there. This is, how ever, fiction.

  • mrgabest.....

that might be "cowardice"...but only in the context of heroics and chivalry. If it went the distance, Al would be alive and Bullock would be dead. Who would really have come out ahead? Al. Can you fault him?

  • What makes you think Al would play fair? The guy is a pimp and proprietor of all that is immoral. Besides Alma and Bullock were cocksuckers anyway. I could never warm up to this two home wreckers. At least Al is upfront about what he is- a son of a bitch. Alma and Bullock are sanctimonious cunts.

  • What you say about Al is true but.... Alma married to get her father out of debit. Bullock married to "honor" his brother that had been killed in the war. To me that doesn't make them homewreckers.

  • Deadwood gave us the best fucking western scenes that don't include Clint Eastwood or John Wayne.

  • "Welcome to fuckin' Deadwood!" Excellent line from Al.

  • big lols, did he call him a "pie faced cock sucker"? i must of missed that line the first time i watched it.....

  • @johnnyAlJazeera Yes he did lol. I know you posted this a year ago, but nobody replied.

  • great scene, it was so long coming, it had to happen. One of my fave TV series ever. :) Thanks for this clip. :)

  • great scene!

  • I fooking love Bullock!!

  • "I won't need no fuck'n knife."

  • One of my favorite scenes in the whole series.

    Thank you for the uploading.
