it was just becaus a lot of scrubs kept getting destroyed in the arcade cuz their cheap tactics never worked in 3. so it didnt achieve mainstream sucess also capcom didnt really publicize this game. but i think in every way possible this game is superior to 4

No the reason 3rd strike never got much attention from the mainstream is because Capcom was stupid and canned almost all their iconic characters.

Plus parries make fireballs useless. :(

They made 4 a combination of SSF2 Turbo, 3rd Strike, and Alpha series mechanics. Their are a few things I don't like about 4, it definitely isn't a perfect game, but there is just as much crap in 3rd strike worth whining about so why bother?

I looked up her on Wikipedia and they said something about her originating from Ranma 1/2 or something. Ramna is a chick when touches hot water or something. And hes a guy when he touches cold water? I dunno it cuold be the other way asround but yeah. If you realise Makoto does look like a guy. BUt she also looks like a chick cause of her boobs and crap.

heh np you need to press LP, MP and MK when selecting the character together this works for the x-box so i assume it works for the ps2 on my x-box pad i use X + B + RT.

Many times that cheap SA2 has been parry, but it's the first time I see the last one from air, just like Ume did on Chun-Li.

Anyway, damage level must've been at 4 and pink makoto must have done 2 complete katas u_u.
