Why were blackpool a breath of fresh air. PLEASE explain it too me? Because they sacrificed defence to score goals? Well that got them relegated. It also got them a 4-0 thrashing at Molineux.

We beat United, Chelsea, Liverpool and City last season. Best run club in the country and we deserve our spot in the best league in the world.

@DingleShandee You answered your own question. It WAS because they sacrificed defence to score goals. They were praised by neutrals because they gave us what we always want - plenty of entertainment. Their style of play was the right way to go because it was what got them promoted, which would never have happened if they had been cautious and defensive. And believe me, just getting promotion was a great achievement for a club of that size, never mind finishing the season with 39 points.

Blackburn played their part by throwing away a comfortable lead when they realised their own safety was gaurenteed. All I can say is poor bloody Blackpool!
