how do u like the congo? i think it;s REALLY useful but not as good as the whole hog

can't really say if I like it or hate it ... I really like the effects engine and all the parameter settings which are very hands on and easy to use, but everything else is just so unecessarily complicated which leads to spending so much time figuring out how to just do simple things like changing times on different parameters between cues and shit ... Time which you rather spend on something more useful.

@SuperEpon the only thing i hate is the " reverse polish notation' and the fact that you can't program " .1, .2 cues it just rewrites everything

think you can program .1 cues ... If you want to insert a new cue between cues 1 and 2 (if that´s what you mean), you just write like 1.1 before pressing record and you´ll get a cue 1.1 between 1 and 2. Reverse polish notation? First value then action or what?

@SuperEpon naw on the congo it literally rewrites every cue number for u so if u insert a cue it will mark it 2 and the others r renumbered and yes reverse polish rotation is EX. 12 CH ID 100 @

yeah, that sucks ... :P but the desk is based on a swedish teathre-desk from the 70's so I guess you just can expect things like that, haha ...

@SuperEpon true the thing abot the congo is that the chanel numbers u have to punch in rather then haveing a master slide for it liek the expresstion does
