It attacks civilian populations with state-of-the-art weapons. Lebanon '06 and Gaza '08-'09 are prime examples. Compare the Israeli casualty count with those of Lebanon and Gaza.

It doesn't change the fact that Israeli nationalists drove out the land's inhabitants by either force or intimidation before Israel was established on that land. Look up Israeli massacres against Palestinians, and then look up Palestinian massacres against Israelis. Not much comparison there.

In the 70's after hundreds of israeli children and women killed from suicide bombers coming in from the west bank they decided to block then and built a wall. The wall is essentially an arbitrary means of land confiscation and psychological warfare. Try waking up every morning to a 9 m wall 30 m from your doorstep.
The wall breaks up families. That's a fact. The wall is many times the length and height of the Berlin Wall. That's a fact. However, it didn't receive nearly as much publicity as the Berlin Wall.

How do you think the Israelis would act if the Palestinians were slowly encroaching on their currently held land?
The solution is simple: give back the settlements in the West Bank, hold a long ceasefire (Hamas respected truces before when Israelis did not), renormalize relations, and tear down the siege wall.

They chased the IDF out of Lebanon in 2006, their guerilla tactics were quite successful. South Lebanon has been destroyed a few times by Israel with US support and it's a tragedy. Israel is on a mere 20,000km2 with a few millions for its population, surrounded by hundreds of millions of Arabs, spread over millions of km2. Israel dominates no one in the region. It is a fact there was Never a Palestinian state. Israel was a state on that land atleast 3,000 years b4 the Arab/Muslim colonists & was re-established by the UN as a modern state in 48.

Those Arabs who moved into the British Mandate controlled area, can be traced back to the 20th century when they moved from other areas which are now Arabs countries. Yet, Israel was a state atleast 3,000 years before Arabs/Muslims were even created. .

In the 2,000 years since many Ancient Israelites were murdered & exiled by the Romans, the land of Israel has been occupied by over 25 powers, yet NEVER by the Fakestinians as they were not yet invented. In 1948 the UN voted for the re-establishment of Israel as well as allowed the Arabs to create an additional Arab state.

Prior to 67 Gaza belonged to Egypt & the West Bank to Jordan. Jerusalem has always been the capital of Israel & is not mentioned in the Islamic Quran even once.
