Ive make epic sounding orchestral pieces for film and games while using full effects and with great realism.... ALL on a PC and the only piece of hardware is a Motu Mk2 ... Just don't see the need for all this hardware anymore... don't get me wrong i use to be swimming in hardware lol

aarowsmith...? Do you have a car, or is your bike still as fast? I understand that not everyone can grasp digital software and modern recording solutions, but to imply that you have the same versatility and sound quality as modern recording setups shows you have never used or understood one.

Yes but can I do music quickly, I still love hardware mixers, no flashy software and mouse clicking and sub menus to go into, just analog tweaking knob heaven, and it works every time, and oh yea' it is much cheaper than all these new spangled digital audio interfaces and expensive software. Once all the 1/4" cables are connected, and Yes I still can still make great music with analog equipment !!! And it doesn't take years to figure it out to just record music.
