  • @y2kbass I have a 242 Limited S and I'm very happy with the way it cuts through chop, especially in the afternoon when the wind on the lake kicks up. If you mean rough seas as in rough "open ocean" seas, I would stay clear of that situation all together.

  • how does these jet boats handle in the rough seas???

  • Thanks for the video, You got skills!

I noticed you towed the boat with a 2011 toyota 4runner, does that truck pull that boat well? do you feel like it can tow it safely? since the towing capacity for that SUV is 5000 lps and the boat is very close to that weight. I'm curious how it performed? I have the same Truck and I'm interested in buying that same boat. your comment would be greatly appreciated.!!

  • @leochup Our 24 foot boats, such as the 242 Limited featured here, weigh in closer to 3400-3500lbs. We tow many of our boats with 4Runners and have never had a problem. The low weight of Yamaha boats is something we hear owners comment on quite a bit, because they are easier to tow with a wider range of vehicles.
