I have this guitar white, no picture or video does the guitars look justice. It sounds awesome... but I hate it. I hate how heavy the neck is and how light the body is, and its stupid painted neck. I hate how the whammy always comes loose no matter how hard I tighten it. I hate stringing the thing. I hate that the bottom point is longer than the top one. I hate the guitars neck balance(feels heavier than it is). only thing good is the great sound quality and it stays in tune forever.

@Rachidth yes it tilts, the neck is pretty heavy. You have to hold the necks weight on your left hand while playing.

Schecter is better, I own a B.C. Rich warlock and I'm saving up for a Schecter Blackjack V-1 or hellraiser v-1. I've also played the C-1 hellraiser and the Solo 6 and in my opinion, schecter is waaayy better than B.C. Rich.

Go with the Schecter Hellraser-I own a B.C. Rich and a Hellraiser and the sound and quality of the schecter kills the B.C Rich-and way more expensive Rich's....

schecter is quality throughout the line. The only good BC Rich guitars are their higher end guitars, basically anything over $800

ok this is how ive got it figured out. based on sound and quality, schecter is better. based on looks and cost, BC rich is better. i think ill probobly look at ibanez for a new guitar, instead of bc rich or schecter.

I have a LAG Arkane 200 STD. Those sound great when well set up. And they're rather cheap if you look at the quality you're getting. My friend has a Schecter Hellraiser C-1, and it's a little more badass. But costs double the money. What I didn't like about the RG's was the neck - it's a Wizard thin most of the time, and that's flat at the back. I didn't like that. The LAG neck is curved, which I liked better, but that's a matter of taste. You should try things out what fits you best..

@grassmower83 I tried some Schecters when I was at Guitar Center like a month ago. To be honest, I played for like 5 seconds and then I put it back in it's place :P . Last week I was at a music store sort of like Guitar Center but in Mexico and tried out some guitars, but the RG350DX was just perfect, (At least for me ;) ) Looks, Neck form, pickups, bridge ETC. So... it's now mine :P

I'm planning to get some DiMarzio pickups on it next year. This is the last guitar I'll buy in a while :P

this guitar is really pritty good. it has neck through. EMG-81TW and 89 pickups. wiht puch pull toen nobs for single coil pick up tones. the mahogany body is framed with abalone. has abalone goth cross inlays. and its cheaper to not bye it with the original floyd rose tremolo system. w/black and white finishes.

There's a huge difference between a Floyd rosed guitar and let say, a guitar with a bridge like the Gibson one.

It's easier to do gallop picking and alternate picking with those, unlike the floyd rose one.

i have a floyd rose guitar (Schecter C-1 Blackjack ATX FR) and I think that there's not much differece between tonpros and floyd rose bridges.

to each person its different i just find it easier to muck around with different tunings on a tonepros/stopbar and tailpiece as opposed to a floyd rose where u have to go back and unlock it etc etc...

As for the trem debates. I had a trem back in the day a Floyd Rose on the very first run of the Dimebag Washburns. I played it for years and it worked as it should but I've since parted with that guitar and I'm never going back to any no-fixed bridge ever again. Too much work for the tuning and changing strings is a nightmare compared to something more mundane.

I just didn't use it enough to put up with the sustain kill and extra work/maintenance.

Yeah that's a drawback of floyd type systems, though that's why it's good to have a fixed bridge guitar or two as a backup. The main attraction of floyds for me is the comfort on the palm.

the Edge III stays in tune like an orginal floyd(not the crappy licensed garbage) and is wayy easier to use&you can go into drop D with the turn of a thumbscrew. and the ZR Trem uses Ball Bearings to return to center rather than the blades 99% of all other trems use
