free kicks are way too easy on this game.

I score like 3 out of 5 free kicks

and if its an NPC taking the free kick, like in regular Master League, it's a goal every time

@xCoffeeman I've been playing a lot online lately and I noticed that some gamers will put a player right in front of the keeper (using off the ball control) and then somehow kick the ball and score the free kick. What I dont understand is how do they kick the ball while using off the ball help pleease!!!

Hi mate,

good tutorial, I just have a question. I can score free kicks close to the box, but I have difficulty scoring from 21-25 meters. Using the moderatly weak shot works very close to the box, but from 20+ meters the ball goes way to slow. All decent keepers will save it. Is there a special way to make free kicks from that distance go in?

the problem i'm having is with defending free kicks. I can't get the wall to do what I want. When I press to have them all jump (which is set as A on the 360 controller for me) many times only some jump, or some even jump and rush or just rush. Any reason why that's the case?

how do u guys know who is going to jump ?(the players lined up on the wall)

or is it lucky guess or is it how u possition where ur going to aim confuses the player at the wall making them not jump?

@lilboss97ify You don't fool the players in the wall not to jump. You never know who in the wall is actually going to jump (but I think they all do). So always aim the free kick in the gaps inbetween the heads or the legs of the players in the wall. Hope this helps! :)

First of, great and clear tutorial. I practice the free kicks a lot myself, and I use more or less the same tactics as you do. I just never used the Knuckleball before. I just have the feeling that the goalkeeper is pretty bad, and that a few of these free kicks would'nt have gone in with Buffon on goal.

@Ruchsacksepp Try practing free kicks from a mid range distance. Sometimes closer free kicks can be tricky because you need to get the ball to dip back down quick enough after clearing the wall. Not all players can execute that and remember, the players you choose to take the free kick is just as important. Naturally, try using Ronaldo as he's technically one of the best. Keep practicing! :)
