Can't help but to love the guy. I realize a lot of people don't like the screw you Texas thing, but that's their right. I love it not only because I am from Austin, but I like Ray Wylie in general. Anything he does sounds good to me. I have traveled America and met cool people everyplace I have been. It's just another song.

He ended up in Oak Cliff and was influenced by Mike Murphey before he became Michael Martin Murphey, Tom Mcgown before he went to work for the IRS, Hank Price III before he got into musicals and being a music instructor , Larry Gross before he wrote and performed "Junk Food Junkie", B.W. Stevenson when he was still called Chuck.. All of them students at W.H. Adamson High School.
oooh i loved his voice, the song and of course who doesnt feel like saying "screw you" period...whether from texas or not....actually screw u is pretty nice compared to the word i usually would choose! enjoyed this very much!always enjoy an attitude song! haha- liked the ending there too!!
