very nice sound...I didn't think the hats were especially hot, but the cymbals seemed a bit clipped or too compressed at the end. They "duck" a little. This track would be a GREAT commercial..keep it up man!
Hi,thanks. The playing drum beat is in real time as hitting the pads on Roland TD-12 Kit.But i ran the midi cable into my computer to BFD2 program to get the sound of kit i wanted.I have a fast overclocked PC so i am able to play and record in real time with latnecy threw my mointors. Check out the program BFD2 online.
whats your latency man? i got a quadcore 3.3ghz machine etc and a usb 2.0 interface but get about 12ms of latency. sounds great man maybe turn the hats down because they are the most fake sounding out of everything.
problem with the high hats cymbols velocity was way to high so i lowered to my playing style hit pads hard.I think with USB 2.0 interface's the lowest u can get is 10ms latency no matter how fast the pc is.I'am using a Delta 66 pci plug-in card from M-audio and can record/play mult. tracks no problem at 0.7ms 24/96 latency.1.6ms latency 24/96 i use when haveing large projects going.I think pci/pci-e cards will always be the fastest if for low latcney recording in real time with mult. tracks.
Hi,thanks.I just used a $400-$500 Ibanez guitar,Yamaha bass guitar 1 take live record .The UAD-1 Nigal,Neve 88RS/33609,Precision equalizer/limiter,LA2A,Fairchild,Pultec-Pro is the track mix down on those tracks i guess giving it a rich colorful sound on cheap guitars. If that what u mean.

12 ms is very short , i m using guitar rig and
latency is "unnoticeable"

Wow, might be a cheap guitar, but you have some high end recording equipment there. No wonder it sounds so professional.

Very cool sounding drums here. What did you use to record the guitar parts?
