  • MID FIFTIES! I THOUGHT YOU WERE YOUNGER THAN ME AND I AM 31, WOW, AND YES I AM SHOUTING LOL!

  • I'm 16 and get grey hairs =[

  • Hi, Sorry to learn about the your henna experience. I must say, I use indigo from mehandi, and I use Nupur Body Art Henna, which is a blend of henna and 9 other herbs and it leaves my hair soft. Please note that I do add avocado oil to my mix as well. Overall, your hair is beautifu!

  • Try Body Art Henna. Check out Mehandi.com

  • @rhollandnyc I have used henna from Mehandi. Henna dries my hair out so I stopped using it.

  • Thanks for your beautiful video.

  • your a grandmother! wow the saying is true. black doesn't crack. :)

  • How is everything, lady? Hope all is well.

  • Embrace the grey! I think it will really complement your face. You have a very youthful look so it will not age you at all. Oh, did you just say mid-fifties? Bless you! And I love your makeup in this vid. Are you using a bronzer?

  • congrats on the new arrival!! and yes to the gray!! i bet you will look very distinguished with it! great seeing you again!!! take care x

  • Congratulations! Your hair looks great in the braids. Beautiful Collection by Clairol professional is a rinse that I use and it has jojoba aloe vera and Vitamin E in it and it does not contain ammonia or peroxide. I use the rinse because I like a the hint of auburn. My hair feels soft but I also use a conditioner after I rinse the color out.

  • @JTwisdomJT Thank you for the suggestion to use Clairol Beautiful Collection. I have tried Clairol's Beautiful Collection and my hair did not like it; it was dry : (. I had heard it has no ammonia or peroxide but it was still drying! My hair is sooo finiky! Right now, I'm allowing the grey to grow out!

  • @Apriluv7779

I understand because everything doesn't work on my hair either. Your hair looks great so letting the grey grow out should look really nice. Have a great Labor Day holiday!

  • Congrats on the new addition! I think you should let the gray grow in :o) Premature gray is very common in my family also, my mother is salt n pepper! I've found a few strands already...and I'm 25. I think it's beautiful, and natural.

  • I think you'd look great with your hair anyway..any colour. I will give you some information to research if you are someone interested in natural remedies/supplements..PABA is something that has been shown to potentially reverse gray hair..I've heard many great things about this from women and men..its something you might read up on if you decide otherwise..loved the video..as always!

  • congrats on your grandson! and wow...you don't look your age at all.i though you were in your early 40s.what's your secret to staying and looking so young?

  • Congratulations on the arrival of your new grandson. I think you are such a beautiful person inside and out that if you let the gray grow out you will be able to rock it and look fierce. Also, I am loving that protective style. I can't wait for my hair to get that length so I can wear styles similar to that one. Take care.

  • Congrats on the grandson! Pre-mature aging! Huh! You're far from aging! If you like the gray, let it show especially since you're tired of the upkeep of covering it every 6 wks. You'll be fine. You actually remind me of Bill Cosby's wife, Camille. She has let her grey (i.e. strong frontal section) shine through.

  • u are beautiful and very blessed! blessings on your new addition to your family! as long as u feel good let your natural color flow. continue shining your light :)

  • I love gray hair. I think it is beautiful. Congrats on your grand baby!

  • Congrats!!! My 1st Grandchild was born in June!! A little Girl... :)

  • Congrats on the arrival of your new grandson! Kudos to you for respecting your son by asking for his permission prior to putting your grandson on YT. I think the gray in your hair is a matter of YOU accepting it as a natural life process, because it is not as bad as you think it is. Actually it is hardly noticeable, and if it is, I think it only enhances your individuality as an attractive and confident AA woman. Hope this is helpful/encouraging. Take care!

  • thanks for the update! and congrats on your grandson!

  • Congrats! And you look lovely!!

  • Congrats! Thanks for the update, you were missed!

  • I think you should let your gray grow out. I love gray hair. Its very pretty. btw premature graying runs in my family so ur not alone.

  • Congratulations on your new baby grandson!! ...My 2 cents, I think you should grow the gray out, experiment and see what you think.

  • Hey! You can use Clairol Beautiful Collections hair color. It's great! My hair is relaxed and I use it and i dont see any shedding or anything. They even have a line for gray coverage too which is also part of the Beautiful Collection.

  • Congratulations!

  • I'm a new subbie!! Love your videos and Congratulations on a beautiful Grandson!!

  • I love the grey. You can also go for a dark blonde tint, that way the grey can be sweet high lites. Either way your beatiful God bless you and your family.

  • I absolutely enjoy yor videos! I am in my 30's and hope to be blessed to still have a youthful apperance-such as you do, when I am in my 50's. Grey or Not your are simply a Beautiful Soul. Congrats on the New Edition to your family.

  • thanks for the updated video, I am a new mother for the first time at 48 and I am loving it. I wear my hair natural and have some gray on the sides but when I color my hair golden blonde it just accents the grey lighter which is beautiful. Keep in touch and congrats on your new grandson I have a son also he has reddish brown curly hair. I am also a new subscriber. Be Blessed

  • You look gorgeous! I'm certain that if you let your natural hair color grow out completely, you will find that you are stunning just how you are. I say, grow it out. My mom has recently embraced her gray (she's mid-fifties, too) and has never looked more confident and gorgeous. People stop her to tell her how 'regal' she looks.

  • Welcome back.....congrats on the new grandson. Love your hair, I've also been greying since my early 20's and continue to henna because of that.

  • Congratulations on your new edition!

  • @00MidnightBlue00 lol that should say addition!

  • they grey is beautiful...so classy! you should let it grow out! :-)

  • ur hair looks good!

  • my husband just turned 30 and he has had salt and peper hair since high school.

  • @SJANELJ Thank you for the inspiring words. They may motivate me to allow my grey to grow out :)

  • It's good seeing you back. I'm not sure if I'm ready to embrace the gray yet. My husband told me to let grow in. I've only colored the front part (honey blonde) b/c I wanted something different, but I'm not sure if I want to keep the gray. I"m not obsessing over it, but I do think about it. Thank you for you honest and congratulations with your new family member. I can imagine how beautiful he is.

  • @11zeaky Thank you for commenting! That's an idea; to color the front for something different; something I should consider :)

  • Congrats!! Hope to see you soon:)

  • Congratulations on the grandbaby...... If you do decide to color your hair again, try adding oil & conditioner to the henna. Then color with indigo.I have added the indigo to the henna before too.It always works for me without losing any precious hair.

    the best to you.
