Buell XB12 Custom Modified Airbox

5 stars! what year and model is this bike? I have a 2004 xb12s lightning. I noticed a few differences between our air boxes it seems yours has nice bolts where mine just has snaps. What kind of power did this add? how did you decide to space the holes and slots you made on the air box so that you didn't compromise structural integrity?

2006 xb12ss lightning long.

My box just uses snaps also, the bolts are for the exhaust valve servo motor.

If you look at the cover there are little squares where I just drilled a hole in the middle of them.. I never did use this since I switched to the open airbox mod. before the holes the thing did not have much airflow.

sic bike, i have the same one i just got the same levers in gold, i made a lot of changes this winter, come spring i'll have a video of all my new parts, you should check it out.
