how do you sharpen your charcoal pencil cause everytime i try my charcoal will break in the sharpner

no, projectt the piece before u make it, so u get everything in its right place and the proportions right, it doesnt reallly look like him , not like he did in the refrence, but looking at it as a drawing, its okay
