  • Or as a creationist might say: "GOD DID IT ALLLLLL"

  • i love how he puts the disclaimer, "or so the theory goes", and then goes on to talk about it as if it were fact...modern science at its best..

  • @fowzie777 no hes explaining the Theory dumbass. Its hypothetical. What does he have to constantly remind you "Its not prven yet...{continues}..did I mention this isnt proven yet?"

  • @36inc - right...whatever you say einstein...

  • @fowzie777 Well seeing how theyre looking for it and conducting tests to find it: They obviously think its there and explaining its importance and what the theory is. A hypothetical assumption; Thats nowhere near saying its fact; thats the point of trying to find it.everything they are saying here is only relevant on the assumption it exists. So exactly how would you have Explained a theory under study?

  • @36inc roflmfao, hahaha owned.

  • Something I find troubling: if the Higgs field gives mass to particles we should assume these particles have no mass before interfering with the HF. What's up with photon, then? This is a genuine doubt I would like to see clarified.

  • @KostaJoe Photon is just a little shy, sooner or later he will come around.

  • i learned this from Hank Greens Sci show. :)

  • you remind me of the assholes in high school who tried to tell us in science class that boiling water freezes faster than water at room temperature. a third rate graphic and a snotty accent with rhetoric does not make a thing true. feel free to suckle at their teat if it makes you content.

  • Learn quantum mechanics, you slag.

  • um, how can an particle "move" if it doesn't already have a mass? i really hate bullshit science.

  • @jeremyfinch The glory of quantum mechanics

  • @Chccy glory? how about the story...as in fairy tale? this isn't even one of their best gags, and you're going to eat it up?

  • @jeremyfinch ahah wow what an outbreak.. R U MAD BRO?

Anyway, have a little look into it, instead of what's provided by the BBC on youtube, and you might get an understanding... You jump to conclusions and definitives, stop it.

  • @Chccy i've lost 2 members of my family to this type of scientific lunacy. a vested interest is what makes me study and gainsay these types of "news briefs." although youtube is rife with trolls, i assure you, i'm not your average hater. i intend to expose all these hucksters for the frauds they've become. you would do well to have healthy skepticism, before you're a statistic too.

  • @jeremyfinch Photons move without a rest mass. Or is that blanketed under your definition of bullshit science?

  • @nioor where to begin? look, i get that scientist need a certain nomenclature to communicate with one another, however, Einstein himself would probably have laughed at this argument. to say something "moves" without a rest mass is asking for a flurry of comments. if it's resting, it's not moving...or is it? i believe the father of quantum physics said "if you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough." --and i'm not quoting Gandalf

  • @jeremyfinch Shreck said that

  • @nioor my shit moves with no mass

  • +1st like
