Anyone else listen to the opening and want to go right into "The KKK Took My Baby Away" by The Ramones (completely different song other than the first few notes)?
These guys came to Boston back in the 90's and played Moma Kins, AeroSmith's club on Lansdown street, Nina Gordon decides she's going to crowd surf, well the entire place is a Sausage Fest, there is a Bar serving booze running the entire left hand side of the club, and well to sum this up she got her crotch, and ass grabbed so much that when she got back on the stage she was missing one of her back pockets of her jeans, and man was she pissed! Swearing up a storm. lmao. Was a good show though!
I LOVE THIS SONG!......want to know some juicy gossip from their '94 canadian tour that they dare not print anywhere...go to "beautiful people nzoz1979" and press "see all" to find my 3 comments. regards.
you only need to read a few books like Our Band Could Be Your Life or Choosing Death ... 91 was a tipping point for the big marketing minds get a grip on indie music and films and begin to commodify it for the masses ... for me personally I think when death metal got on A&M all bets were off
@avenged7fold1000 Your mother actually told me the other night after she sucked my dick that you are the fagatron. Oh and I think anyone that leaves positive comments on here probably hate that dickhole sucking band Seether..God they suck SO much cock !
@27ljta LOL thanks for retracting your douchebaggery, I know it hard when ppl trash the music you liked when you were young, totally get that. Jus saying 90's rocked.... early 2000's had some good ones too (SOAD and Tool in particular) Anymore comments just PM my account tho, I've had enuff of this song for now ;)
@27ljta Hahahah oh but I did grow up in the 80's, I was there :) Born in 82, so maybe since I was young in the 80's, maybe I didn't appreciate it. But that's doubtful. BTW I didn't say crap about 80's movies... those are fucking awesome!! Just everything else that sucked (actually, it had some good TV too)
@27ljta Nah, yer wrong, 80's wasn't inspired by the past, it wanted to get away from it. That's why all 80's inspired haircuts/music/ fashion etc is different. AND YES, it doe's suck. Which is why the music now, inspired from the 80's, sucks. SYNTH'S ARE NOT COOL DUDE!! 90's music was at least trying to copy something cool
@mephiston001 Actually, the late 80's-mid-nineties ruled. The Pixies,Sonic Youth,Nirvana,Mudhoney,Alice in Chains&most of the Seattle scene,Smashing Pumpkins etc. all put out albums in 1988 or earlier. The late nineties was the beginning of the shitty bands today.
@mephiston001 Actually, after I wrote the comment I was listening 2 Sonic Youth & they formed the band in 1981! I'll admit I wasn't aware of the late 80's-mid-nineties thing until my best mate pointed it out.I was 10 in '86 & I hated hair-metal bands & what the 80's stood 4.
According to the Veruca Salt FAQ : "Nina Gordon wrote Seether after having a discussion with someone and disagreeing so violently that she wanted to bash her face in. Simply put, Seether is about anger, a seething anger, hence the name. It has been said that it's more about a woman's anger, the kind of anger "a woman is not supposed to show."
And said woman may even be blamed for SHOWING her seether teeth. But the fact is, you CAN & SHOULD stand up for yourself. No matter what your gender.
they broke up due to the fact the one slut was cuaght fucking the other ones boyfriend...long before you kiddies wee even born ...or a glimmer in mommy n daddys eyes....

Liz Phair, Alanis Morissette,, Elastica,, Natalie Merchant/ 10 000 maniacs, and I guess we could add Indigo Girls, PJ Harvey, Bjork, and Tracy Chapman to the list as well.
Gosh, I've been watching a few videos from the nineties and I just realized how many girl bands or girl-led bands there were... No Doubt, The Breeders, The Cranberries, Veruca Salt, L7, Mazzy Star, Hole... whatever happened to women in rock?
@Wallylex i agree so much, aint the same with katy, avril, and taylor..to continure ur short list sheryl crow, jewell, tracy Bonham, cowboy junkies, 4 non blondes garbage, sneaker pimps,
@Wallylex L7's probably my favorite band, and I'm a guy! They've got really great songs for when your pissed off with people too (masses are asses, shitlist, feul my fire etc)
