Started skateboarding in 1998, looking back at this footage reminds me of how different things are nowadays but it's still all the same. Just wish I saw more variety in the way kids skate, dress,etc instead of just all looking the same. Skateboarding doesn't have just ONE look or style, it's anything and everything you want it to be.

i was also there that day, i had my parents drive my 8th grade ass 4.5 hours to watch this shit two years in a row. LEGALIZED SKATING in downtown philly for a day or two. met oyola and josh kalis just chillin in love park, skated the ledge with the grate below it. wow what a day
