  • GOD DAM IT LOD LOL

  • I don't see the need to see a life boat drill if I'm not on board. It was very uncomfortable when I was at one. True it was nice to know that if needed, there were plans for safety at sea. It's great that it's a must attend drill, because you are at the mercy of your fellow passengers. Good info. ...One could only pray that it would be thisorderly in an actual "abandon ship" moment. The drills are almost enough to make someone pass out.(no adrenaline to keep you conscious) Thanks, flashback!!!

  • nice

  • Thanks for the awesome video! I'm going on that boat in a few months

  • nice video for the ship scchool

  • "ladies and gentlemen, you just 'heared' " lol

  • lol

  • I don't like the pa system. there should be a speaker in every room. I wouldn't hear that at night. iwould end up dieing

  • On the Carnival Victory, we had a public-address system speaker in EVERY room. However, the ones in the rooms would be used for emergencies only; we only heard the announcements about the lifeboat drill and the alarm tone sounding. It wasn't that loud in our room; it was basically as loud as the tone they used for class-change signaling at my high school's public address system.

  • there is a PA speaker in every room, they only use it for emergencies.

  • really. they should have it on all the time, that's what i think. i like to hear the announcements.

  • some people dont like to hear them early in the morning while theyre asleep.

  • well i don't mean have them on at 6 in the mornin but later. well that is my opinion. on my next cruise i'm going to have them put on in my cabin.

  • Well then you have a ship full of idiots because we were in the first group that arrived. The captain told us to be in our staterooms for alarm, not to go find our Muster station prior to the alarm. Nice try.

  • A life boat drill is meant to simulate a real-life emergency scenario. In a real emergency, people would not be all lined up on the promenade deck BEFORE the alarm sounded.

The instructions provided always state to be in your stateroom with your lifejacket ready when the alarm sounds. This is so that you can find your route properly, without the use of elevators being permitted.... as would be the case in an actual emergency.

So they actually did the drill exactly by the instructions.

  • Great video! Glad you see you making videos again!
