Maybe someone can help me out, I know this theme as Clouds Theme, but why are there so many videos on youtube having the World theme as clouds theme?

Technically what most people call the "World Theme" is really "World Theme + Cloud's Theme."

The world theme has an extra 1-1.5 minutes of an 'introduction' that uses the 'main melody' of Cloud's Theme in it. . .but it sound kind-of different (because it is in a different key). . .

but its not Cloud's theme =/ its the Main theme of final fantasy 7

cloud's theme its "Cloud Smiles"

This piece is titled FF7 Main Theme but I have also seen it listed as cloud's theme. The "actual" main theme is around 6 minutes long. Cloud's Theme is a large part of the main theme.

@andreee14 There is no "Cloud Smiles" track. Cloud simply has no theme. That is to say there is no track that's called "Cloud's Theme" unlike the other characters. Therefore, people assume that the "Main Theme" is also his defining melody since he IS the leading protagonist.

The fact that a variation of the "Main Theme" melody is heard during some of Cloud's nostalgic moments such as "On that day 5 years ago" seems to support the notion.

this peice fits Cloud perfectly...

in the beginning it's sort of sad and Cloud was always lonely and some-what sad and then in the middle or close to the end it started giving me a feeling of mixed emotions like when he would get mad or very hurt

well that's my take on this peice... oh and it's very lovely!

I use a Casio Privia PX-110 at a cost of $550.

Don't get anything less than $500 (Make sure it has 88 keys, simulated piano weighted, and a sustain pedal (damper pedal). keys.

Don't buy mine either. . . after a couple of months, the keys will start making an annoying clicking sound.

I you have the money go for a digital piano in the range of at least $1,000.

Definitely go for the Px-130, it has 128 polyphony and a newer action that supposedly alleviates the clicking sound that can develop in older models. Supposed to have better piano sound samples as well.

I think the going price for Px-130 ~ $600

And for the Px-110 now ~ $500

Don't even consider the Px-110 if you're able to purchase the Px-130 or higher in the series.

Also, if you don't have some decent headphones, I would recommend that you get some; when I practice with my $50 headset (b/c I can't stand that damn clicking sound!!!) it makes a whole hell of a lot of difference, especially when my headset has an outside sound canceler.

I always thought that this tune went way beyond what the game graphics could ever represent. When I hear this theme I don't think of Cloud walking on the map, I think of a party slowly trekking across vast hills, plains, mountain ridges, etc. In other words, more like footage from a movie than anything else.
