  • Yeah, the bar weights 20kg, and they have one 10kg plate on each side. So that makes 40kg which is about 88lbs.

  • Every video I have seen of CrossFit seems to have at least two or three incedents tha look really unsafe - many the exercises seem to be performed far to quick with bad form, for example the person on the left at 51 secs - the wholeracknearly feel and the guy in grey nearly lost a foot.......it doesn't look like its run by very responsible people to be honest.

  • @tubemech Normally I would argue with a comment like this but I agree with you in this case. I don't care how fast your going if your form sucks you going to hurt yourself. At.51 is the reason why you need to man up and clean it, no racks. And that same guy starts pushing off his toes = back injury.

  • Really nice work in this one, Mark was obviously going full bore as you can tell by how he drops off the bar at the end. He must be well under 3min by now, he would've been if he had his kipping a bit smoother on the first set, really fast pull-ups.

  • I understand that crossfit is primarily about intensity rather than duration but would this be the whole workout ?

  • This is one of the shorter workouts, you go full bore at maximum capacity until it is done, world class people can do it in 2 to 2.5 minutes, there is a long recovery period afterwards, it's extremely challenging. Other workouts range from 10-30minutes, some longer (e.g. run 10k, run 15k).
