Yes, yes I am a christian. I go to a bible college and everything about my life is centered around the one true God of the bible and His perfect son Jesus. Those who don't know him I want to show them the love of Christ. And those who do know God, I want to help them know him on a deeper level and not to be happy just being an "average christian" :) God bless!
Many like the label "Christian" but don't practice their Biblical Instruction.
However I do know one good Christian.A lady who is like my second mother. She is a devout Christian.I respect and love her and she feels the same about me.
I hesitantly told her I was a non believer and that I could not change, nor could she change me.
She did not judge me, condemn me, or try to convert me in any way. She only said "I love you". That is that best Christian action I have ever seen.

We are very lucky to have amazingly accurate translations of the Scriptures, but there are still a few discrepancies. As far as your argument is concerned, many interpret generation (ἡ γενεα αὑτη [hē genea hautē) as race, meaning that the Jewish race will survive till Christ returns. This, so far, has been fulfilled, just like all of Christs prophecies. Thanks again!

I'm just saying that if you are not going to TRY and live like a Christian, don't call yourself one. Also, I don't doubt that every theist you've come across lies at some level, because every human I've ever come across lies. And just to let you know, the bible actually NEVER contradicts itself when you interpreted correctly. :)

It's hopeless for the theists to actually live the life described in the bible because there are so many contradictions there. So they pick and chose arbitrarily, which is why you see what you observe. The contradictions are swept under the rug and they hide this, so they end up being dishonest. Creationists make this fully blatant, but every theist I've come across lies at some level.

My fav bible passage is Matt 6.24. I interpret "God" to mean highest ideal and "mammon" to mean others. It what it means to be an Objectivist.

Your Absolutley right, I dont think Most self labeled Christian love Christ enough to sell all their possesions and follow him.
Luckly we can know true christians by there 'Fruits.'
But at the end of the day their no real Christians since Jesus wasnt God.
he was a False Prophet; Mat 24:34 did not happen! So Even he fails the bibles own standards.
