Dude, this video has been viewed so many times, dropping the guitar sux, but lots of ppl know yas sound awesome live now. I didnt see you guys at easterfest last year but am keen to this year after checking some of your music.

As far as the strap locks go... Strap locks and match sticks!!! Pull the strap locks out, throw part of a match stick into the hole and drill into it. The matchstick will split and put better pressure on the screw. Do this every now and then to ensure they dont pull out.

Happened to me too, huge crowd like 1500 ppl, screw from strap lock stripped clean out of the bass. Destroyed my fender p-bass. So devastated and embarrassed. Lol I think the video is on here somewhere :)

@fenderbass15 read the description. We all use the highly regarded dimarzio straplocks, what you'll notice is this particular kind of fail happens when doing the old school over the lefty shoulder method. Screw pulled clean out of the body.

@hystb My guitar's screws used to come out so I used longer screws, glued them in and put the strap in between a washer and the pin so it's pretty fool proof.

@metalmaniac767 thanks bro. there were a 2nd set of screws that came with that were substantially fatter, so we replaced them as soon as we got home. the bass itself has a hairline crack through the paint which has now been sealed. and a new bass will be in order early in the new year!
