heaven truly sent us a special gift when he sent us bishop walter hawkins; his music truly blessed our hearts. i am so very thankful i got a chance to be in one of the hawkins family concerts in fay. nc during the middle 70's. he left us w/ a legacy of great gospel music. May God Bless his family and church family.

OMG!!! Bishop Flunder was in Chicago on Monday night at Cosmopolitan Church of Prayer with Dr. Charles G. Hayes and the Warriors. What an awesome woman of God. She preached a little and sang a lot. Wow...we were blessed. I hope someone has a video.

I may be a dye-in-the-wool Atheist, but damn this lady going it going. I am lucky to be a 'member' of her church. On ANY given day She can sing to me, along with Mother Shirley Miller. Those two got it going on. It looks like Bishop Hawkins got so catch up he forgot to direct his choir, LOL.

I too was at this concert. I was in the reunion choir. What a blessing it was for me to witness this reunion service and to be one of two brothers from the original (approx. 20-25 members) Love Center Choir that participated here on this program 25 yrs later. Who'd ever thought!! Even more was a blessing for me to have my mother there to witness it with me. She's standing right next to Richard Smallwood. It was truly a spirited concert. God never stops pouring out blessings.!!
